It is a little more of a resort than a camp, as lodges are multi-storied and there is little rustic feelings remaining along the waterfront (although a hike up the mountain will find satisfy a desire for solitude). But it is beautiful! Hayden Lake is surrounded by rich cabins, and Camp MiVoden is a more affordable vista for the average citizen. The waterfront is well-maintained and the beach volleyball court is a joy to play on. They also have horses and challenge ropes courses available. During the early summer months, MiVoden runs kids' camps, with options available for kids in 1st grade through high school. I scheduled this party about 2 months in advance, and they were up front with all costs, policies and how everything was going to work. They have 2 party packages avaliable, with some great options. They not only provide the space for the event, but rhey provide small plates and napkins, decorations, clean up, a super cute birthday plate and you get 2 hours to do all of your painting, presents and eating. It was well worth the money, as every person got to pick something out to paint and will get it once it's finished in the kiln. They also got to have a fun experience doing something new! I strongly believe prices were very fair, the staff were so kind, helpful and patient with all the crazy kids. We will definitely be coming back to do some family activities, and we will definitely come back for another birthday soon!!

I had to go horseback riding because my stepdaughter is only 12 years old. The rule of the…read morehorseback riding trip is if the rider is a minor, then there has to be an adult accompanying him or her. My husband is probably scared of horses, so he made me signed myself up, knowing I am not fond of horse riding (the first time I was on a horse was when I was 9 years old). It was an easy find to go to the ranch. We walked into the meeting area, where we were briefed by the 2 guides about the horse and basic steps on how to maneuver with the horses in case they decide to stray off or something, but keep in mind these horses are able to keep up with single trail walking as long as they're feeling it and you as a rider aren't too nervous and tense because animals can sense your emotion, too! My horse just decided to stray off on his own for a bit, but I was able to guide him back to the group with the guide's help. My horse also decided that it was fun to run up the hill for a bit, and I was able to pull back on his reign to make him stop. Not the horse'a fault. It's animal's instinct. The part that really freaked me out most was when we all walked single line along the steep hill. I didn't want to look to my left because I didn't want to die. The horses are smart enough to not stray off from the path, so that was good. The ride is really 1 hour long like advertised in the payment. Remember that you will be greeted in the beginning, be introduced to your riding horse, be saddled up, be riding the whole way with 1 guide in the front of the line and 1 guide at the back of the line supervising, and be gone for about 1 good hour (ground level , up the hill, down the hill, then back to the ranch). The guides are really good about keeping up with the safety of the group, and the horses are good with their temperament. After the ride is over, the guides will help you get down from the horses and ask if you'd want some water and you are finished with your horse riding adventure. The horses around this ranch are muscular and well-taken care of, so .... No complain from me! Yes, my horse also wanted to snack some hay after the ride because he saw some hay from one of the stalls. I also got to see horse pooping and urinating, so how glorious was that ?

They wouldn't reschedule, refund nor partial refund. They gave no solutions, they just took our money. This was the supposed to be the first of many adventures we planned with CDA Adventures. But now we won't have any. Instead we've now removed "the middleman" and will be scheduling with these "adventure" companies directly.

I took my teenage son who's learning and they have a great rate for juniors of $20 for nine holes and my parents. Upon check in everybody was very helpful when you go to the clubhouse to get some drinks they're very nice and put your drinks in a bag of ice for you so you can take them out on the course all the way to the ending when you bring back the golf cart. The golf helper was happy to take our cart and even put my rental clubs back into the pro shop for me. Great experience highly recommend whether you're playing solo or with your family.

I had the $7.50 arcade credit and most of the games I wanted to play were broken/not working. But able to take my money. The lady at the counter was helpful in refunding it but it was still annoying. We tried to play 2 player games but every time one of the games wasn't working so we had to do it separately which isn't as fun. Plus all the games are insanely expensive like $3-7 for maybe a 1-3 min game. We reloaded our wrist bands and it seemed all the games make it so you have to keep putting money on your wristband and can't quite play any game without doing that OR you just leave without using the full amount that you paid because there aren't any games that cost less than what's left on your wristband. Mini golf was alright All in all, it's a fun family place but some improvements could be made for sure!
