Here is the sign for the Black course at the end (extra $5 and takes approximately half an hour longer)
    James C.

Kids wanted to do this and I'm glad they did! We arrived and walked the course from the ground. It looked easy from the ground. They have a kids course for ages 9. Every one in our party was older so we did the adult course. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Tip: they recommend buying gloves for $3. which I highly recommend too! They saved me from possible blisters and splinters. We went over the rules and practiced using the equipment about 7 feet off the ground. I felt very safe. Then we started the course. Tip use the bathroom before you start as there are no outhouses in the trees. There are 3 places where you can climb ladders down to take breaks but once you are up in the trees but our group just kept going. When we started out the course was easy but got more challenging pretty quickly. If you have no fear of heights, are fit, and have good balance then this course is a cakewalk. I admit that it was challenging at times and required quite a bit of upper body strength to climb some cable ladders. Note that you are always clipped should you fall which makes the fear of falling a bit more manageable. There was 1 in our group of 8 that asked for a guide to help them down when the course became more challenging. We had to use the bathroom so we decided not to do the black course at the end (which is the highest course and takes an extra 30 mins and costs $20 more. We will return next summer to do it again and complete the black course :) Update: my wife found a Groupon special so we went back and did the course again and did the Black course at the end. It was worth the return visit. Yes the Black course was most challenging but also most rewarding.

Life got in the way in 2020, but this spring (2021) we returned for another awesome adventure with Mica Moon. The weather was "just right"... not to hot and sunny, nor cold and wet. Our guides this trip were Andrew and Heidi. Both were superb. Although their manner was very upbeat and loads of fun, they were very professional throughout the entire adventure. From the initial pre-zip briefing, to dropping us back at their office in town nine zips later, we felt we were in very competent hands. The ride up (and down) the mountain via four wheel ATVs was great fun, and Andrew kept us entertained with a colorful verbal history of the area and the mountain we would be Ziplining down. Their gear is top notch, and the guides double and triple check each person's harness and other equipment frequently during the 9 different "zips" that make up the complete tour. At no point did we ever feel our safety was compromised in the least. From a very short "starter" zip (maybe 50 feet) to the "BIG MOMMA" zip at 3500+ feet long, this is an adrenaline rush you just shouldn't miss. It's definitely something to place on your bucket list. Heads UP, Heidi, we WILL be back to zip with you again this fall. Thank you Mica Moon... what FUN !

We wanted to do something as a family and it was last minute. Silver Streak Zipline Tours was listed as being closed on Independence Day. I called and inquired, and let them know what I was trying to accomplish, and was told that if we can be there at 9am, they will come in for us. Upon arrival, the owner, Scott, welcomed us and told me that normally they wouldn't do this, but since our son was active duty military, and I was a Veteran, they were more than happy to come in and take us on a zip line adventure. We were then introduced to Drew and Kolten, our guides for the morning The owner and his staff were very friendly, and it only took a few minutes of brief instructions, putting on our harnesses, and away we went. Everything about this trip was just great. The zipline's were awesome! These guys made it look easy, look fun, and they couldn't stress "SAFETY" enough. My wife isn't particularly fond of heights, but Drew and Kolten completely set her at ease. After the first time walking off the platform, she rocked it like a pro. I can't stress this enough, if you have an ego, then leave it at home. Listen to the guides, and you will have a trouble free, fun time. I read a couple negative reviews of people complaining about the line you grab onto to slow down, and ultimately stop. Look, if you do as your told by the instructors, you will be just fine, guaranteed. I'm held together with bubblegum, crazy glue, and 100mph tape, my body is a wreck, and I made it out the other end no worse than before. We all followed the simple instructions and safety guidelines that were given in the beginning, and we all made it just fine. We picked the West Course + Big Daddy, and couldn't have been happier with everything. Bottom Line, plan a morning, afternoon, or evening with Silver Streak Zipline Tours and go have a great time. It's perfectly safe, the guides have a great sense of humor, and it's reasonably priced enough for a whole lot of fun. Thanks to Scott, Drew, and Kolten for a great, fun filled morning!!

The bowling alley could use some maintenance because even a 300 bowler isn't that great here but whatever, there's other cool things here. We enjoyed the indoor putt putt golf. Update: Vanessa from Triple Play finally contacted my wife today…read more What is frustrating is that her own message confirms exactly why this situation has been such a mess. She stated that their Sales Manager had a couple digits mixed up in Allison's phone number when he tried calling earlier in the week. That means Triple Play publicly claimed they attempted to reach out and had not received a response, while the real issue was that their own staff had the wrong number -- a phone number they had access to all along through the event planning process. So again, this was not simply "confusion between pass types." This was poor communication, poor follow-through, and poor handling of a group event involving children and families. First the arcade credit issue was not handled correctly at the event. Then the follow-up was mishandled. Then it was publicly framed as if we were not responding, when in reality they had mixed up the phone number. I do appreciate that Vanessa finally spoke with Allison and that they are now working on refunding the remaining arcade credit. That is what should have happened from the beginning. But the fact remains: our group spent over $2,000, the girls were let down in the moment, we had to pay the $225 ourselves to make it right for the kids, and the follow-up only happened after multiple public responses and updates. I am glad they are finally taking steps to correct part of it, but this entire situation still shows why I would strongly warn anyone planning a group event here to get every single detail in writing, verify every promise before arriving, and make sure you know exactly who is responsible if something goes wrong.

What to Expect at the "Just the Two of Us" Camp…read more Since we didn't get a specific list of things to bring or descriptions of what to expect, a few new to the camp parents may find this review useful. We stayed in a cluster of five rustic cabins--one reserved for staff. Each cabin had three bottom bunk beds, firm 3-4" plastic mattresses, and zero electricity, chairs, or tables. If you're a side sleeper, prepare for your hips to go numb and your appreciation for modern bedding to skyrocket. Twice a day, every day, there's a flag ceremony--so brace yourself emotionally. The grounds are lovely--tall trees, wild air, and banks that would be even prettier if not decorated with mounts and mounts of goose droppings. Rake available for guests. If not, help from the groundskeeper would be very useful. Oddly enough, not a single goose appeared during our three-day stay. I suspect it was piling up for months before. The coasters (that's what they call the mini cabin area) had three outhouses with running water and two cold-water sinks. The main camp territory featured showers--with just curtains for privacy (no doors, so bring a bold spirit). Dads and moms did not have separate shower areas. There were laundry machines too, but we opted to wait until we got home to do our laundry. Sometimes it is better to carry the wild scent of adventure with you. There were fire pits without fires, so there were no marshmallows this time. I wonder if gas fire pits would be allowed. Now, about the rules. Parents aren't allowed on the docks or in the water unless a lifeguard is present. And as for electronics--don't waste $500 on a camp-approved camera or fancy Apple Watch. The "no electronics" rule? Loosely enforced. One lifeguard even kept repeating daily, "Leave your phone on shore; we're not responsible if you lose it," basically hinting you'll have it on you anyway. I saw five moms fully embracing screen time--scrolling away, headphones in, tuning out kids. One didn't talk to anyone at her table, not even her daughter. She let her have coffee too. It was... a little heartbreaking. The staff? Mostly lovely. We met eight international counselors. Most were warm and patient. One, however, seemed to have wandered into the wrong profession. Her voice was sharp and tense, laced with frustration rather than guidance. Instead of helping the child confused by the dining ceremony, she kept her distance--emotionally and physically. Her presence at the table felt more like a warning than a welcome, and none of the kids seemed at ease around her. I spotted her scrolling on her phone under the table the next day. Kids notice things like that. Meals were simple and predictable: for adults, breakfast included eggs, sausage, cereal, milk, and coffee. Gluten-free folks, bring your own backup plan, especially for breakfast. Pancakes were often undercooked and sad. Lunch and dinner included pasta (or gluten-free pasta), meat, a modest but very popular salad bar, and desserts like frozen juice pops or marshmallow-Cocoa-Puff-Rice-Krispie bars after dinner. Activities, though, were where the magic lived: kids helped serve meals, we had a canoe water fight, roamed the grounds hunting for 30 hidden counselors, tried high or low ropes, crafted things, shot arrows at targets, 10-15 min hike, "camp fire" gathering and had one glorious hour-long swim in 2 full days. Our cabin group included families from the Tri-Cities, Spokane, and Idaho. The girls (grades 1-3) hit it off like childhood soulmates, and the moms found easy camaraderie too. The counselors kept the pace fun, and the kids busy and happy. Would I go every year? Probably not, but maybe every couple of years--just enough time to forget how hard the mattresses are, the disgusting mine fields full of goose feces and indigestion, the multiple pasta meals, and how joyful the giggles sound echoing in the woods. One more thing: we saw a few unique family setups. One cabin had two dads and their daughters, but the age gap between the girls and differing dad vibes made bonding hard. Another mom brought both her daughter and young son. I didn't know that was an option, but it's good to keep in mind!
