However the style I wanted to achieve required a feminin touch. I searched several social media sites and the internet looking for a stylist in the CSRA. I came across Katrina's Instagram page and her work spoke for itself so I called to make an appointment. Katrina was amazing! She was very patient and attentive. She listened to all of my concerns and answered every question I had...she was very knowledgeable about hair in general and also about the other services offered at the salon that inquired about. I showed Katrina pictures of the style I wanted to achieve and pictures of what I didn't. We discussed the style and she let me know step by step what she'd be doing to my hair. Hope spoke to me and really worked to understand my hair, how it behaves, my styling routine, and what I wanted from the cut before she even started. She then cut my hair and walked me through the styling to make sure I could replicate the results at home. And I have certainly been able to! I had never done a major chop like this on my hair EVER, but I have been so happy with the results. I've since been back again for a trim to maintain the length, and I'll be returning regularly for...forever! I say "appeared" because there were several women in an unseen back room laughing and talking, and every so often one of them would peek out, look at me, and then lean back in. Finally, when I was just about to turn around and walk back out, someone else came from another direction, to ask me what I wanted. Well, I'm standing there with long hair, in a hair salon. Should have been obvious. I told her I came for a haircut. Ignoring the completely empty salon, she told me everyone was busy, and I could make an appointment for the following afternoon. So I just left. I'm very glad this salon is so busy that they can afford to turn away clients.
