May 9th, I got a perm. Well, it was the worst perm I have had. I'm 59 I've had many perms. First, she rolled it, and then she said I always over saturated ea rod. I looked like a white Tina Turner with a foe it felt dry and crunchy. It's absolutely horrible. After many hair mask treatments by myself using Sally's bond bar products, I got softer. I sent the owner videos of my hair. She offered free treatment. I went to 3 different salons right after may 9th, and all 3 said it was over processed, brittle lots of breakage. I asked if there was any treatments that would fix it? Not really, it was to damage. As of today I have lost 50% of my hair. I would never go back or recommend them for perms. read more

Very professional and thoughtful staff! I had my eyebrows dyed. The sweet girl that does the eyebrows is very attentive and asks your opinions of the color as she dyes them. I was really impressed when I first came in this salon. It was highly recommended by a friend. I scheduled for a haircut and facial. Sarah did my haircut and she was amazing. My first experience with the facial was not that great as i felt rushed and my inquiries not appropriately answered. Since i did have a good experienced with my haircut, I gave it another shot. The second time around was perfect. I brought my daughter and husband for them to get a haircut. My husband loved his haircut experience. We love that they offer wine, beer, tea etc. My daughter also love it as they offered her popsicles on top of her lollipops. Of course she also got a good haircut. Well my sister in law went in to get her hair done and she had to go back and get it fixed and it still is a mess. She was too shy to post a review but when you ask for one thing and the stylist isn't sure about how to do it they need to say so. The lady who originally did her hair acted confident and made her feel comfortable and even though my sister in law was crying at the end all she said was "well If you don't like it, I love it" she went back the next day and there were a few ladies that were very nice and they tried to help her but this is unacceptable. I went in about 5 days ago to get my hair cut (literally chopped off, from long to pixie-style). Dani was my hair stylist and she did absolutely terrific. She was sweet, kept the conversation going, and did an excellent job actually styling my hair. However, today I went in and received service that was not as good as the first day. The customer service was superb, everyone was just as friendly as the previous visit. I had my eyebrows and a Brazilian wax done. The eyebrows look great and the aesthecian was friendly and professional. Jessa took her time shaping them and making them look nice. The Brazilian did not turn out well, though. She seemed a bit more rushed, and maybe it was because I was her last client of the day and she was looking forward to going home, but when I got home I saw a lot of patchy areas where there was still hair. Some of the hairs were even the same length as they were before I went in. Overall, I was a tad displeased with this service, and will be going elsewhere for Brazilians. I will definitely go back to get my hair cut and styled (assuming it's long enough to be charged $45) and I do believe this place has a lot going for it, but it didn't meet my overall expectations when it came to the "down under" wax. EDIT: I have since revoked my 3-star rating, because a simple hair TRIM starts at $45. That is an absolutely ludicrous price, just to have my already really short hair cleaned up. Just about every other place I've gone to has charged around $15 (and yes, their styling prices are all within the same range). $15 is certainly a fair price to charge just to clean up a haircut, but not $45+ read more

Excellent! Super cute place in downtown that looks like they do everything. I have wavy hair that I've been trying to wear curly, so I sought out a DevaCut. Karen is great- she takes her time and explains everything she's doing and how I could do it at home. My goal is to be able to wash & wear and she tailors her work to meet that goal! First I went there I enjoyed having a nice conversation with my hairstylist. She was very informative of the products and services they may be able to provide in the future that were specific to me and what I might like. I like that they provide a variety of services in one place. A friend of mine got a massage here and enjoyed it. And super convenient as it is only down the street from my job. Never coming back here again... They cancelled on my massage appointment 3 times: I had a Saturday morning appointment, they called to cancel on me about 10 minutes prior. Rescheduled for the Saturday morning 2 weeks later, called me the day before to reschedule me from the morning to the afternoon. Finally, the day of the massage I'm told the LMT is unavailable to do a 90 minute as schedule, she can only do 60min. I get massages pretty frequently from all over (I travel a lot). My massage that day was very mediocre (I did not get the therapist listed in the staff section of their website). The LMT couched a lot and paused a lot. Not worth the price that was charged. I overcharged/under-serviced. I was supposed to get a 60 min massage, at the most I got 35 mins of actually massage. I walked in the door at at 2:40PM, waited 5-10 minutes and was paying as I left at 3:30PM. Last, they were unable to produce a receipt, not an indicator of a good business. read more

I went in for a pixie and I have walked out with with the back of my head shaved almost half way up. Utterly ghastly. I am broken hearted and due to start a new job in just over a week. I was really excited to give this place a try after following them on Facebook for a while and loving all the nail pics they've posted. I had an appointment with Ashley at 12:30. I showed up 10 mins early and proceeded to wait after being told she would be with me shortly. At 12:30 I was told her previous appointment was running behind but that she'd be done in 20 minutes if I wanted to wait. I decided that was fine because I wasn't really in a rush and was excited to have my nails done for my vacation. After waiting 40 minutes (at 1:10) I was told she no longer had time for a SNS manicure and could only do gel... I couldn't get the ombré style I was excited to try with a gel mani so I passed and walked out empty handed. I feel like this was very unprofessional, honor your appointments or make an effort to know earlier that you aren't going to be able to keep it. I live out near the base so with my commute I wasted almost 2 hours of my day to sit in a waiting area. I could've had my nails done and been home if I'd chosen a different salon. read more

I got the prenatal pedicure and it was wonderful. They have a trendy atmosphere and friendly staff. The only negative was during my pedicure (which is 90 minutes) someone used the same room for an eyebrow wax. It would have been 5 stars if it had remained private or at least been another relaxing treatment. The wax brought tension into the room. read more

The staff here are very friendly and tried hard to get us two masseuses at the same time in the small window of time that my husband I had to get our massages. We had them set for this morning, but when we arrived we found out that one masseuse was going to be a half hour late. So, to make up for not being able to keep the agreed upon time they offered us one of the massages for free. So we looked at the other offerings to see what we could spend the extra money on that could fill in our time and chose pedicures. As it turned out though the front desk lady couldn't get anyone to do those at the time, so she suggested we extend one 60min massage into a 90min one, which we decided upon. So in the end we left a little later than planned, but we got two massages for the price of one and they were both wonderful. :) read more
