I found this place on Yelp and am thrilled with my luck! Emma cuts my hair and is so sweet and patient. She's done mini tutorials on how to style my hair at our appointments and she makes it so simple and approachable. I will say, at other salons I've walked out with celebrity hair and it's fun for the day but then I've never been able to replicate the look. At Bella Capelli I walk out looking like I am having an awesome hair day - and then that good hair day just keeps on going as I DIY the styling. My hair is super thin and I was wanting some more volume. Emma walked me through my options - we decided on extensions for volume and I LOVE them. Emma is so knowledgeable and I trust her fully with my extensions. On top of that the prices are very reasonable. If you have thin hair go see Emma! You will be so glad you did. read more

I had two sets of appointments last week at Bella Capelli. I was very excited because I had just moved her from out of state and the reviews seemed very promising. I couldn't be more disappointed. I debated about whether or not to write this review as I don't want to be seen as mean or spiteful but this needs to be shared to protected other new comers. The owner and the stylist that worked on my hair were both very nice but unprofessional in multiple ways. I had orange hair when I originally came in because I used at at home treatment to remove most of the bright red that was previously in my hair. I had stated that I would like my hair to be blonde but understood that red was difficult to get out so I'd be happy with a dirty blonde as well. Instead she told me that getting my hair to the "blonde blonde" I wanted wouldn't be a problem. The first appointment I spent a majority of my appointment (which took almost 4 hours) ignored as she had another client then rushed out the door with wet hair because she stayed so late. When I got home and dried it I realized that it was not orange anymore nor a dirty blonde like she had said it would be but a greenish grey. It definitely made me concerned but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. It was a later appointment and she seemed pretty new. My second appointment I was in the chair for 6 hours as my hair was way over processed. I have always had very healthy, strong, and soft hair no matter what I've done to it but straw now has better texture and feel than my hair does. They didn't even finish washing out my hair so I came home with bleach all over my scalp and hair on the base of my head. I called the manager to inform her of what happen a day later because I wanted to make sure that we could have a calm discussion. All I got from her was an insincere "whoops sorry that shouldn't have happened" and that she would speak to my stylist. I got the same response from her. It's been over a week and I still have clumps of hair falling out. The color is streaky and skunk like. Leaving bleach in someone's hair that long is a safety and health hazard. I felt like I wasn't taken seriously and truly hope that they don't do this to someone else. *I would be happy to show pictures from both of my appointments read more

Ashley cut and colored my hair. She layered my hair, and it looked so much better than it was before! I also wanted some fun colors, pink and purple, on the tips of my hair and she was ecstatic to do it. She was very upbeat and made the experience fun. The rest of the staff were nice and friendly. The atmosphere itself was inviting, too. I don't get my hair done very often, and I'm glad I decided to go here. **Update*** The purple came out of my hair fairly quickly... As in 2 days. I didn't shampoo it either, just rinsed it and bam! Suddenly I had green hair. :( I asked another stylist and apparently the dye didn't set correctly or something. When one salon, if you can even call them that, murders your hair and says it's going to take probably 5 visits to get what you want, and another salon goes "Hah, watch me" you should go with the latter. 285 completely messed my head up and cut inches off, with my wedding less than 2 months out. I came here to Bella Capelli last night and 5 hours later, Macey had my hair looking BEAUTIFUL! I knew it was possible, just takes someone that actually knows what their doing and has skill. If you want to be blonde, I HIGHLY recommend Macey. An added plus- she's super sweet and listened to me bitch about studio 285 and how horrible they are lol. AND she stayed way later than planned to make my vision a reality. I will continue to go here for all my future needs, I now have my augusta salon! read more

Today was my first time visiting this salon. I called last minute today in hopes that someone could squeeze me in for a root touch-up. I was surprised when they told me they could get me with a stylist in less than 30 minutes. I had my appointment with Leah. Not only was she super sweet, but she did an amazing job. Their prices are extremely affordable based on the results. My hair looks and feels great. I will definitely return to get my hair done by Leah in the future. This was an emotional visit for me. The day before my scheduled appointment I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Needless to say, with chemo on the horizon, my plans for my hair changed a bit. I am not very picky about my hair. When I get a haircut I end up not liking, I learn to work with it and just grow it out. No big deal. I like new styles. However, the haircut I got here was so poorly done I don't know what to do with it. I asked for straight across and just above my shoulders. I mean no disrespect to the hairdresser who was very sweet and attentive, but this looks like how I cut my hair as a toddler. I'm visiting another salon to see if they can help me fix it. I'm sure this is not a universal experience for the salon as many others seem happy with their cut. So maybe just be careful about who you book. I think my hairdresser (who was again so cool and sweet) may have been new because she asked someone to come help her cut my bangs. read more

My friend and I made appointments for 3pm today. We walked in about 20 minutes early to be greeted with lots of attitude. I guess the lady behind the counter isn't used to people being on time, but it wasn't as if we were expecting to get started right away. It was our first time visiting this salon, and we had read great reviews. Right around the time of our appointments, they took another client, one who was also new, but showed up just five minutes prior to getting called back. No big deal, maybe they were running a bit late. Thirty minutes after our scheduled appointment, without any excuse as to why we were being kept waiting, my friend and I decided we had had enough. While we were waiting for nearly an hour, we watched two stylists leave, and one spend about 10 minutes fussing over her own hair after her client paid and left. Needless to say, if this is how they treat new clients, I don't want to come back to find how they treat regulars. Perhaps if we had shown up right on time or even a bit late, they might have taken us right away. I know that I'm not ever given this salon my money. I don't have time our money to waste on a business that doesn't keep their appointments. read more

I've been going to this salon for the last two years now and while I've never had my hair done by anyone other than Gabrielle, I can say without reservation that it's the best care my hair has ever received. Cut and color always come out flawlessly and my hair has probably never looked better (which in no way has fed into my narcissism, that'd be ridiculous). I get compliments all the time, which always feels great. I also go here to get facial waxing done; I've been to a few other places in town but no one is as professional and careful about it as this salon. I had a very good experience here. I have gone twice and both times I saw Gabrielle for a hair cut. The first time, I had very long hair and was dying for a change. I apprehensively told her to take off 6 inches. She listened and took no more or no less. My hair looked great! I went back a few months later and saw Gabrielle again, I took another 4 inches off (I should have done this all at once...idk why I was so scared) and I love my cut and style. I also got my eyebrows waxed by her. She did a good job. The only complaint I have about the wax is that they didn't have a dedicated waxing room. The staff is all very nice and friendly. I was always greeted warmly when I walk into the salon. And I like how they give reminder calls about appointments I am one to forget about appointments. read more

Went in for a haircut today! Scheduled the appointment last minute and they were able to fit me in. Went in with damaged hair that had a bunch of split ends and left with hair that felt really healthy and that I love! Cut off about two inches and got some layers to keep the length. I've been going to Juanita for the past 8 months. She is fantastic! My first appointment she asked questions about I like my hair done, if I was looking for a change, and offered her suggestions on how to look my best. She always takes her time and I've never felt rushed. I rarely have to wait more than a couple of minutes if I arrive on time. I went here based on the reviews here in Yelp. I highly recommend Kaylee! My appointment was for a cut/color. New to the area, I took my old hair stylist's card with me, which had the exact color codes I typically use for my color and highlights. She was able to match those perfectly! For my cut, I chopped off all my hair! I went from an a-line bob to a feminine pixie cut. I brought in a couple of pictures and she was able to make it happen. She worked with me each step of the way and happily made suggestions and did any adjustments I asked for along the way. I LOVE the cut and will definitely be back. The salon itself is really nice. Clean, and each stylist has their own station which is a slightly made into a personal space. I wanted to give two stars, but Kaylee was too awesome. At one point when I was at the sink letting some product sit, two other stylists took their customers to the sinks on either side of me and proceeded to trash talk another stylist in the salon. This is incredibly unprofessional and definitely inappropriate in front of customers. Had Kaylee not been so great, I wouldn't be back because of this. read more

Recently moved to the area and had to find a new stylist. I gave Regis Salon a try for several months and used the same stylist! Last month I went in for my regular cut and OMG!! I swear she has got to be related to Edward Scissor Hands!! It took almost six weeks to grow my hair out!! Lucky to have found Lauren she had to do major adjustments but got the job done. I returned today she colored and styled my hair and I can finally say, I found my new home! Lauren listened asked questions and was able to work her magic. I've been here three times, twice for my daughter & once for myself. Kaylee was our stylist & did a wonderful job! My daughter got her hair colored for the first time. She wanted highlights & I wanted to make sure it wasn't too drastic. Kaylee recommended a "bolayge" (sp?), which is a gradual color change from roots to end. It was a little too subtle so we came back & she lightened it some more, at no extra charge. Today, I came in wanting something totally different & chopped a good 6+in off. I showed her a bunch of different styles & told I wanted something w/ 5min or less style time at home. I got exactly what I wanted! I recently spent a Saturday morning kicking my feet up at Bella Capelli. If you're looking for a short review -- go here, it is fabulous. No complaints! For the longer version, read on! I am in town on business and wanted a spa day, so I searched yelp and Google far and wide to find the best place. I may be an internet snob, but I'm always shocked when businesses don't have websites, and impressed when they have good ones. Too many other spas had consistent negative reviews, but with the lack of reviews for this one I was taking a chance. FIrst off, they were polite on the phone and accommodating. I called Friday afternoon for a spa appointment the next morning - a 4 hour spa appointment, mind you. They called me back an hour or two later and managed to squeeze me in! I got the Classic Capelli package - a GREAT deal - a one hour massage, a one hour facial, mani, pedi and hair shampoo/style for $210! Dina was a great massage therapist. She was very friendly and good at her job and I thoroughly enjoyed my massage. Debbie was a great esthetician and this was by far my most enjoyable and effective facial to date! Rhonda was by far my favorite of the day, she was sassy and fun, honest but still good at her job and we had a good ole time chatting while she did my nails. Jenna was honestly my least favorite of the day, not quite as friendly but she had had a busy morning so I will just assume that she was wiped. More importantly she did a great job with my hair and was flexible in making my hair styling a hair trim instead, which I desperately needed. Overall, it was fantastic way to spend a Saturday morning and I would absolutely highly recommend you go here for high quality service at affordable prices! read more
