A quaint and beautiful off-the-beaten path place to rest your loins while sipping on custom-blended teas. The prices are exceptional for the superb quality and the environment is rejuvenating. They handcraft not only their tea blends but keep their own unique starter for quality sourdough breads upon which they build perfectly balanced sandwiches. Additionally they use ancient grains and bake their own lightly tea flavored scones for a snazzy accompaniment to their delicious teas. Would definitely return! Even if the road leading to the place is an adventure in itself XD. (PS. You can drive up to the place despite the signs saying "authorized vehicles only")

The different dining areas, the settings..all were so beautiful and you even got to pick your own cup and saucer. Everything was delicious from the kale salad to the mini chocolate cupcake and you could see how much time and care was taken with the preparation. My only suggestion would be instead of a half of a large croissant to have two many croissants which fit more in the scheme of the t-selections. Cream scones melted in your mouth and just fell apart and they have their mix for sale! Clotted cream, lemon curd, raspberry preserve, all were there for the scones. My only suggestion would be instead of a half large croissant, have two mini croissants which fit more in the scheme of the tea selections on the tiered stand. If you haven't, go! You won't be disappointed, and take a bag of the scone mix with you!

Since they just recently started harvesting their own teas, it's still pretty expensive for those Canadian tea options. Like way out of my price range, but maybe cool for some people! The imported teas, however, were very reasonably priced I thought, considering a lot of them are organic or rare, or simply just yummy. We sat outside in the back overlooking the meadow area. We got two bowls of matcha $5/ea, the bite size vegan/GF brownie ($3), and yummy Earl Grey Chocolate Cake ($6). It was all very tasty!!!! We both ended up buying the Izu Matcha tea from Japan-- 30g for $13, and 100g for $36 (great deal, actually!). I would recommend this place for a nice afternoon and good place to buy tea... The only downside is that they don't have a "tasting" option (wineries or breweries usually have a "flight" option to drink small quantities of a few types, but they don't do anything like that here. So to taste multiple you'd have to buy a few full small pots, 2 cups in each pot, each for $5).

Victor and Margit with their amazing staff are phenomenal hosts. Always helpful, attentive and appreciative when we visit. Their dessert menu offers delightful treats with gluten free options as well. I am partial to the Earl Grey Chocolate Cake...it is so yummy. It is a Zen like experience especially on a lovely day as we sit overlooking a meadow, valley, the tea leaves growing on the hill and the figs and raspberries too. I highly recommend the experience....slow down and enjoy the moment with loved ones at this hidden gem in the valley.

We were surrounded by pieces of antique and porcelains. The food was authentic yet I think the flavour could be better. It was between 3 and 4 stars. We ordered the traditional pies, tea, coffee and hot chocolate (forgot to take a photo of it). The Steak and Guinness Pie had a nice fluffy pastry top and was filled with lots of chunky pieces of steak and potatoes. The steak was well cooked (not chewy). The chicken soup had a good amount of chicken and pasta. You can tell it was not from a can. My friends also enjoyed the London Pub Pie and Ploughman's Lunch. The pies were well baked and hot when they were served. The beverages we ordered were nice, too. I had to say that I liked the aromatic orange grove vanilla herbal tea. The waitress who served us was funny and friendly. The restaurant was busy and she was doing what she could to be attentive. They offer hightea but when we arrived on a Saturday around 2:30pm, it was sold out. Good to know afterwards that you can call in half an hour in advance to reserve it. There was a group celebrating someone's birthday. It's nice to stop by with a group of friends when you are in the area. You can also buy the frozen pies, meat and spices from the menu in their grocery store to take home.

What I didn't expect was how great things can come in small packages. The location is very tight and cozy, as space is small. It was beautifully furnished with some cute and vintage decor. The only downside I had in my experience is that it was really hot when I went, which made it really hot in the building. People were sweating like hot tea. Now what I am excited to talk about the high tea itself! My 3 friends and I shared a pot of cream of earl grey. The taste was rich and creamy (depending on how much cream and sugar you put). I really enjoyed the blend of the tea, it made me start drinking tea again at home. The food was great as it came with an assortment of sweet and savory pasteries. I really enjoyed the spinach puff pastry and lavender lemon tarts! It was just how you would have imagined. Flaky pastry with a creamy spinach and the tart lemon paired with a buttery crust. I just wish I had more of those to eat! You only get one per person. It's also worth mentioning that the staff were super helpful. We mentioned that one guest had a nut allergy and they were able to accommodate by bringing our friend her own separate tray! They also refilled our tea and cream quite often. We really felt like royalty with the service provided! I will be coming again! It definitely was a pleasure being there.

As mentioned, located in the airport, so plenty of tables to enjoy your drink and snacks prior to passing through security. Barista/Cashier was friendly and gave off great vibes. However, the Hojicha oat here, didn't vibe with it - picture doesn't show it, but it was super clumpy, I stirred and stirred until it was ok to drink - pretty sure it wasn't whisked properly. - taste also had a overwhelming bitterness to it. The airport location is the only Paragon where you can get vegan ice cream by Mister in vanilla or tea flavours, served on its own or in a drink. I've been indulging in the ice cream stuff here but I've tried pretty much all of their teas either at other Paragon locations or at other cafes that serve them. I think all of their teas are great, but I will caution that the stone-ground teas are significantly more potent than their looseleaf counterparts (particularly the jasmine) and if you aren't used to that, it might catch you off-guard. The Mister ice cream is great! The oat milk ice cream is very smooth and the tea flavours are pleasantly strong. You can get a tea float with any choice of tea latte and ice cream. The vanilla ice cream or doubling up on matcha tea/ice cream are the safe choices but I tried the combo of hojicha latte and Thai tea ice cream and that worked really well. The matcha ice cream/genmaicha shot affogato was also delicious. I was kind of worried that the matcha ice cream would cover up the nuance of the genmaicha and it would all just taste like matcha, but I could taste the genmaicha just fine, and if anything, the matcha ice cream enhanced the genmaicha flavour rather than the other way around. The baristas here are very friendly and professional. Every time I've come here they've done a good job preparing the tea. I haven't noticed if the prices here are the same as the other Paragon locations, but they're basically in line with what high-end matcha drinks usually go for in Vancouver.
