They just did a renovation job on one of my rental properties in Makiki. It included reflooring, painting, and numerous repairs and they delivered more than they promised. They are honest, reasonable, communicative, reliable, accommodating, and best of all hardworking with great quality workmanship. These qualities are certainly challenging to find in a handyman these days but I am happy to recommend them. I worked with Donovan, the foreman who kept in touch with me everyday and sent me photos of their progress. He is professional and super friendly and I appreciate how he met me at the hardware store, shopped for all the materials, and I paid the hardware store. This way I'm not making a blind deposit for "materials" bearing the risk of the contractor taking the money and running. Once a contract is signed they did require 50% Deposit on the labor cost but the work was already in progress. They're also fully insured. A neighbor in the same building was so impressed with their work that they hired them on the spot to have their flooring redone as well! I found AllTech Professionals on Yelp through their "Obtain a Quote" process. I love Yelp for this feature as it has saved me so much time on managing my projects. They responded right away, showed up on time to the appointment, understood the tasks without overselling, we worked on the written agreement and purchased supplies the next day, and the job started the day after and was finished in the estimated timeframe they promised. Fast forward to February of this year, we decided to move forward with replacing our flooring throughout the house. Hannah worked with us to finalize the flooring choice and get the product ordered. When they came out to measure the house they were on time and very professional. Before we placed the order we were very up front about the tight timeline we had to work with and were assured we had sufficient time for the flooring to arrive and get installed. Everything was going great and we were excited to see it installed. Once we placed the order it was very challenging to get updates, return calls or reassurance that we could get the flooring installed by the requested dates. Getting on the installation scheduled was frustrating. My husband finally went to the showroom a couple times to get the install date confirmed. Fortunately, on the second visit the owner John was there and stepped in to help us out. We got on the schedule within a few days. The installers we had, Sean and Brandon, did an awesome job and made sure everything was just right. They even offered to come back personally if we had a problems with the flooring. While we had a rocky middle to our transaction we would recommend Lei Flooring. The owner stepped in and made everything right in our eyes. The installers were professional and meticulous. Only suggestion we have is that they get more sales help to support their customers.

Instead of being up front about when my wife discussed it with the owner he stated, "we are on an island in the middle of an ocean" and "we can not guarantee when it will show up," They would not give us our money back. He also said my wife was lying about the order even when we had evidence that the order date was in September. Amazingly after the mistake was discovered the tile showed up in 14 days. I guess we should not be surprised because our salesperson was on his way to a big weekend in Las Vegas and our order was the last one he handled before running out the door. Our contractor vowed never to use this company again and from other comments we have received we very much suspect that the firm is working diligently asking specific clients or friends to write good reviews. I bought them lunch and tipped for moving the furniture with out complaining ... but them lunch these guys work hard and they don't mess around .
