Spoke to Greg and ordered 3 or more loads of Crush and run for my 600 ' driveway. He said they have been for 30 years in the business and also stated that his experienced driver would assess the driveway because I want it spread while the truck his moving. The driver showed up and dumped 2 loads over 100 feet and totally blocked my driveway! I had to pay a contractor to come with a skeed steer to spread the gravel. Contractor stated that the driver had to be inexperienced to do such a bad job considering that it was no power lines or trees at this dumping location. Greg will not return my calls! Spoke with a guy named Greg about what rocks I want even sent him pictures. He recommended some things, I sent him about 4 pictures of the rock I needed. The load that showed up looked nothing like what I needed or talked about. Then he refused to answer my calls and text now I'm stuck with 17 tons of rocks that look nothing like what I need. I have used 81 Inert landfill for yard trash for nearly a decade, until today, 9/1/23. The online information indicated they closed at 4pm today. I arrived at 3pm with my pick-up truck load of yard trash. Surprisingly, I was told they closed at 2pm because of the holiday on Monday. I tried reasoning with the young man there, told him I was a long-term customer, and asked if I could just pay cash and unload. I was refused. I drove to Winder to another Inert landfill that will now be my landfill of choice. My business may be insignificant but it will now go to Winder. The 81 Inert Landfill website claims that customer needs come first but that was not my experience today. read more

I ordered a load of 57 stone for my driveway and they sent 34 stone instead. 34 stone is 3" to 4" inches in size, which is too large for driveways. You can not walk on it without the risk of falling or snapping an ankle because the rocks roll. Even driving on it is difficult. I want them to pick the stone up and send the 57 stone which is 1" to 1-1/2" in size but they will not return my calls. As far as I am concerned, this is a very poorly run operation. You have to place orders via text and they have no one at the place of business and no one answering the phones. I am going to have to pay someone to have the rock removed from my property and I am not at all happy about this. Would not recommend this company. read more

My sister hired a company in Snellville to remove a large number of trees in her yard. The landscape company hired a vendor to bring a roll off dumpster. When they came to pick up the dumpster, it did damage to her front yard. Although the landscape company was responsible as they signed a waiver, they refused to respond to our calls for help. I called Greg at 81 Inert Recycling (roll off dumpster company) and told him the situation. He immediately (although not his responsibility) had one of his drivers load up beautiful top soil, and they brought it within an hour of my speaking with him and spread it. He would not let me pay for this kind gesture. My sister is deaf and has a hard time communicating with issues like this. Shame on the other company (will write a review on their website) for not standing by their services. I salute Greg and his staff for outstanding service!
