Legit 5 star company!! Process of getting a quote was super easy through Yelp. Ryan was prompt and explained the pricing in detail. I had a picture attached and he helped me understand the space it would occupy in the truck (that's how it's priced). If getting the junk to the truck takes too long they will charge for labor (a set amount of time is provided in the quote for the labor involved - no need to worry unless you really have an extensive labor ask as part of the junk removal). I had my junk in a storage unit, so I was a little concerned with the time it would take (elevator and long carry) but Ryan reassured me that a few minutes over and above was ok and if it was a lot longer they would calculate the charge down to the minute. The guys called me within my window to ask me if I was flexible on time as they were trying to optimize their pickups. Since I was already at the storage facility, they told me they would be there next. Within 20 minutes of the call the guys were there - I had already got some of the light items on a cart, the rest they picked up with ease. They were in and out in a jiffy. They accept cash and card (no fees). Overall a very positive experience! I will definitely use them again if the need arises. P.S. it's difficult to check the actual amount of space your stuff occupies in the truck since they load it well (especially if it's like 1/8, 1/4 or so), but you can try your best to guesstimate it and make sure if lines up with what they charge you. read more

I was so pleased with the crew back then that I never forgot. I moved back to Atlanta last year (July 2020) and, again, have used Peachtree Junk Removal twice due to all the packing and shipping material I have acquired setting up a house. So, I think having used them four times should lend some weight to my review here! The crews have always been so helpful, easy to work with, professional, and efficient. Scheduling with Jason - who is stored in my phone as "Jason Junk" ha! sorry Jason! - has always been very easy. I needed professional junk removal at a not so expensive cost. I paid more with a previous company just to remove a sofa and love seat. Peachtree removed two bedroom sets and threw in an ottoman and jewelry cabinet and was in and out. They were professional, courteous and on time. These guys just came out today for a job and I highly recommend them. Great attitudes! They were scheduled to come between 2:00-4:00, called about 1:00 saying that they were about 20 minutes out, to which I said that I wasn't there. They were super cool about it and said they'd call back and plan for 2:00. I love communication and people that are early. When they arrived, they were very friendly and got right to work. 3 guys showed up and I mentioned that I wasn't keen on paying for 3 guys, but was told that the first 45 mins are free, so I figured it probably wouldn't take them that long anyway, and it didn't. I had a mattress on an upper level with a staircase that had two landings that winds around, it's not ideal AT ALL. They maneuvered it well. No complaints, just smiles. Then my small basement area FULL of random junk of all sizes. There was a lot of very heavy items as well as a lot, A LOT of loose pieces. These guys brought large lawn trash bags to bag things up, and they did this swiftly, and carried it out. No dilly dallying. They even questioned me about things I wanted to toss, to suggest maybe I should keep. They were right and I appreciate them looking out for me. The whole job took about 35 minutes. My stuff took up 1/3 of the truck, which I'm surprised it didn't take up a lot more. They really packed everything in. I expect that's where many companies likely take advantage of customers. The entire job took maybe 45 minutes total and cost $165. You can't beat that. I will be using these guys again!! read more

Very disappointed with this company. Hired them to clear out the garage and basement. The crew of the first 3 trucks were very professional and courteous. The final truck one of the workers was high, intoxicated, or under the influence of some illicit drug. He was very belligerent and verbally abusive towards my daughter who home alone and overseeing the removal of items. My daughter called the office and spoke with Brando who pleaded with her not to call the police. I was out of the country and she was unable to reach me. They damage several items that they were explicitly instructed not to remove from the base. Refrigerator, washer and dryer, dishwasher and some furniture. I can not recommend a company who would jeopardize the safety and security of a customer by not properly screening their employees. read more

For the most part, I had a good experience working with Peachtree Junk Removal. However, there were some cons that impacted my experience. Pros: 1. Quick and friendly customer service. My phone call was answered immediately by very a friendly Ryan. And I was set up for service the next day. 2. The servicemen who came to pick up were on time and so kind and friendly! You would not have a problem letting these obliging men into your home. I am a woman and never felt threatened or unsafe. 3. The job was done quickly and they were happy to take whatever I gave them, no complaints. If my review ended here, this would be a five star experience. Unfortunately, there were a couple cons that I would like future customers to consider. 1. During my phone consult, I was quoted for size from anywhere to a 1/3 of a truck to 1/2 a truck. They were fine here and we took up 1/2 a truck of space @ $250. I was NOT told about an additional labor cost if loading time was more than 30 mins. This brought my total to $295! When I questioned this, somehow the operations manager calculated the labor rate wrong and it was back down to $280. I didn't appreciate the last minute charges, I felt like I was being taken advantage of. 2. I told Ryan during my phone consult that we had very light carpet and to have the guys wear booties when they came in. Unfortunately, i didn't catch the guys when they first came into my basement and my brand new carpet has huge stains on them. I will have to get it professionally cleaned at an additional cost, unfortunately. If you are considering using this company, just make sure to note all costs up front. Also, protect your floors or any delicate surfaces/items. read more
