Stopped in early on a Tuesday hoping to beat the long lines, but this place was still packed, which definitely says something! Thankfully, there's a spacious parking lot, so finding parking wasn't an issue. We also walked through Asia Village while we were there. It was pretty busy, so we skipped the food this time, but I liked the cafeteria style setup and will definitely have to come back to try it. We ordered our drinks first. I got the sea salt caramel Vietnamese coffee, which was really good, although I wish I had added boba. My husband ordered the grapefruit green tea, and it was so refreshing that I honestly wanted to switch drinks with him! Of all the pastries we tried, my favorite was the chocolate mousse bun. It was incredibly soft, light, and not overly sweet. You can really tell everything is freshly baked. The garlic cheese bread was absolutely delicious. I would come back just for that alone. The spicy sausage bun was also a great choice with the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. Even though it was busy, the service was efficient. The bread line moved quickly, and we waited less than five minutes for our drinks. Best of all, everything we ordered came to under $20, making it an affordable spot to grab fresh pastries and drinks. If you're looking for delicious baked goods without spending a fortune, this place is definitely worth checking out!

Very excited to have my favorite Asian bakery chain finally arrive in Minnesota!! I first had baked goods and bubble tea from 85 Degrees Bakery when visiting family in Southern California and usually bring some home to Minnesota from my visits there since I can't find anything quite like it here. Since the new Asia Village is close to the office I work at, I have stopped by a couple of times this past week (while they are still in Soft Opening phase). The first time was after work and the selection of baked goods was pretty limited since it was the end of the day. There was a much bigger selection during my 2nd visit (grabbed lunch with a few coworkers in the food court before going to the bakery). I picked up a variety of buns to share with family and friends and everyone enjoyed them. The bubble tea was tasty with great boba. Looking forward to the Grand Opening of Asia Village when the bakery and other businesses will have longer hours and even more selection. Recommend checking out if you are looking for some delicious baked goods and bubble tea!

Wow, so easy to over indulge here. They hand you a tray and off you go! The line was super long at their soft opening week. They prefer you order your drinks from the screen before entering in, grabbing the tray and filling it all sorts of Taiwanese baked goodies! You pay at the end and then grab your drink. They will box or bag your items. This is inside the new Asia Village at the Northtown Mall. There is plenty of parking and a lot of seating. It's a nice vibe to walk around grab something to eat and do a bit of people watching Though it was crowded it felt ok with those high ceilings. Excited to try everything in the new mall!

Had to check out the Asia village in north town mall. Great location. Easier parking compared to the Asia mall in Eden prairie. Beautiful clean interior. We tried this bakery in LA and were excited to try the first Minnesota location. I have to say I like it better than tour Le jour and Paris baguette for my tastes. Don't get me wrong I still have my favorites at those other places but 85* has more options that I like. Yes the line was long but it moved quickly and the staff and service was great.

Well, they are now technically open as soft opening so their choice of products were somewhat limited. I went there today and they only have a few of their favorites or best sellers in California. They only have ham and cheese, strawberry cream cheese, guava pastry, big chocolate bread, mango tale, cranberry bread and a few sad brioche (which looks like they were not expanding properly and were brown instead of golden yellowish as usually seen in their California's stores). I know it is not perfect (at least now with the long lines and shortage of products), however, their prices were pretty much cheaper and better compared to what most local Twin Cities bakeries usually charges. Ham and Cheese bread is only $2 something... much less than $6 something from Cafe de Paris, that is one example. Since I drove quite far and I waited in line for a while, I brought home 2 boxes and it costs less than $60

A bit disappointed about the potato croquette. Not really a golden color but the main concern is the filling. Pretty much ate baked bread with some corn in it. I get that it's busy but don't cheap out on filling. Just make more

Outside seating area. Drinks on the left, bakery on the right!

Parking available in the shared business lot out front, but it was VERY busy on this Sunday afternoon! The interior of this spot is one for the senses: colorful walls, random knick knacks, plants, and plenty of coffee-sipping patrons. While it was a LOT of stimulation, I loved every bit of it. I was so happy to see so much support for this local spot! The servers were so friendly and helpful during my order and pick up process! Incredibly LGBTQ+ friendly. I HAD to go with the Go Bananas option on my iced latte, their proprietary blend of banana, vanilla, and hazelnut that leaves you with the most beautiful flavor! I also appreciated that they have a layered iced latte option...with the shot on top! This spot definitely is one of my favorite hidden gems from the last few years, and might crack into the top five coffee spots in the Cities for me! A MUST VISIT!

Note: this is inside Wicked Wort brewery now! It's a HUGE space, which is honestly nice because there's always seating available. Great use of shared space. Has an industrial feel to it with the exposed ceiling and dark wood elements. Service was great and helpful! Very friendly, neighborhood vibes. The barista knew most of the people ordering after us by name AND order - you can tell a lot of people come here often. Quite a large retired and elderly population came here for breakfast on the day we visited. Prices are very affordable for breakfast! We got a burrito and burrito bowl for $8-9 each. You can't get hardly anything for under $10 these days! Latte prices were more standard, but we got specialty items. These weren't our faves: the vanilla bean latte was quite sweet, and my peppermint matcha didn't taste much of peppermint (and I'm not sure they're using very good quality matcha). But our breakfast more than made up for it! Food was out quickly, and the rest of their lunch menu (and ice cream) looked great too.

On the way out, I wanted to get dessert and got the cookies for 2 for $1 and a black drip coffee to go! Yummy! I LOVE this place!

It says drive thru, but there was nobody serving at the drive thru when we tried to go there. There is some indoor seating, maybe 10 tables or so. It was not super busy when we were there, but it was after what I would consider the Sunday rush. Service was quick and polite. Iced Cold press with heavy cream (you could also have it with half and half) - very good, good coffee flavor Hot Vanilla latte - they only had three sugar-free options, caramel, raspberry, and one other I can't remember, so I went with regular Vanilla. It was very good. The first couple of sips were very sweet, I think because they didn't mix it well so all of the vanilla syrup was sitting on top. Once I got it mixed in it was much better. The temperature was good, it was quite hot, but not so much that it burned my mouth. Overall a good experience, we will be back.
