I then began to ask if we could pair the caramel with the white cake and Davids response was as if I was the dumbest person on the earth for not knowing you can not put it on white cake since it cant support it. We asked if the cookies and cream filling could be put on white cake and he just kept giving us answers as if we were wasting his time. Not treating us like we were going to purchase large cake for a wedding. I started to shut down since I started fearing asking any questions. He then started asking us if we wanted tiered or cupcakes and obviously I had questions about if pricing would look different and all that so my husband had to ask the questions. I ended up in tears unable to make a decision and hating my interaction with David and his lack of customer service. We reached out to our venue/catering manager about the experience and she told us that should not have been what happened and told us we should try the st paul location and that she would ensure we have someone who is actually friendly to work with us. It comes with a side of cole slaw which is vinegar based (which I liked, but isn't traditional in the Midwest).
