I did a search and found a Touch of Class Collision. I called, and the staff was friendly attentive and caring. The young man who drove me to the rental place was so friendly and professional as well. Yesterday, 4 February, I finally picked up my car. It took a while but that was because the other insurance company took their time to get adjusters etc. When I got there, Gabe came out to greet me, they pulled my Alpine white, 300C up and I was floored. It looked like a brand new car, like it had come out of the showroom. Gabe explained the work they did and that the impact was much more that it showed superficially. The inside was spotless, the trunk, glove compartment everything was just spotless and so clean. This morning my dad went to charge the battery and he said even the engine is spotless and so clean. They tell what's to get done, how they're going to do it and how longs it's going to take as well as the cost they expect to charge. Also each time I called which was only twice, the feeling was that I was a bother. On my last call the guy told me that the car was 'being primed' and anticipated that the job would be done by the following week. I showed up to the garage and saw that they were still sanding and I was just watching from the front of the garage which took one of their's attention and he tersely directed me to the office. I show up and they look surprised and I asked them when they anticipated completing the work, which they didn't seem interested in letting me know. They gave me a day. At that point I just left and decided to leave them alone because frankly they left me with the vibe that they would probably do something to my car or maybe just forget about it for another week (yes, that's the feeling you're giving out). So finally returning to get my car and they walked me to my car which was parked about 200 feet from their garage with my KEY ON THE DASH AND THE CAR UNLOCKED. Maybe it's my Brooklyn living but how does that not smell like free car? I inspected front and signed the claim papers and took off just relieved to have my car back.
