We all have body image issues and they all come out to play when you put on a swimsuit. This store is aimed at the competitive swimmer but they have a wide range of attractive, comfortable suits for all ages. I was the only customer in the store. I had amazing service from the woman that assisted me. She pushed nothing but gently made suggestions. About 20 suits later I found the perfect suit for me. This is the second time I have purchased a suit here. All the suits are high quality and made to last. The prices are reasonable. I can't believe that I never cried or gave up. Having personal service made all the difference!

We dropped in on a Monday around 5 pm in May, 2023. The store is huge, and signage is good to help you to find what you're looking for. Nonetheless, we found ourselves zig-zagging across the store because we weren't familiar with its layout. The good news, though, is that we found everything that we intended to buy. We were particularly impressed with the fruits and vegetables section. The quality of items was very good, as were many of the prices. An English cucumber for 98 cents; baby carrots, $1.24. These are cheaper than back home though I don't know whether grocery inflation is abating at home as well. Check-out was also relatively easy. There were only two people in front of us, and both only had small orders. Our check-out cashier Henry was accurate, efficient, and friendly. What else could you ask for?

In the past year I have had the guys (Collin, Gary, and Richard) work on 5 different bikes ranging from bike assembly and service to packing and shipping. They worked on everything from my early 1990s Bianchi Eros to my Argon 18 to my 2020 Lynsey GR pro. I often just drop by to have a chat with them about their thoughts on bicycles and triathlons. Beyond bikes my wife and I have gotten several pairs of running shoes (great selection and often sales up to 50% off) where Gary has talked us through what we should be looking for in comfort and fit. Hands down I would suggest this store to anyone in the market for a bike/shoes or getting their bike surfaced!

Swim shorts, towels & sweat shirts are all 14.99. I told my family they each can get two items as a souvenir. We had a hay day reading all of the t-shirts. My kiddos each picked out a couple. However, the shirts that they press are Gilden Brand, you can get at the dollar tree for 1.25 or at Joann's Craft Store for 2.00 after in store coupon. So, we put everything we wanted on the counter 1 by 1 and would go look at more t-shirts. Some of the shirts we wanted were 2.99 or 3 for 10.00. He rang them up at 9.99 or 14.99 each. So, make sure you're watching, or look at your receipt before you leave. We totally got ripped off.

I've bought from their catalog for years, and was thrilled to see them open a shop in Madison. And after my first visit, it looks like they've done it right. The retail store has limited space, so this fall they've concentrated on their basic and cold weather items. The space is no-frills attractive, the layout more browsable than tightly organized. Staff were friendly and helpful, but didn't hover. The woman who waited on me showed up every so often to put my stuff in a fitting room and answer questions; other than that, she let me do my thing. Both clerks present that day knew the merchandise. This is not a cheap place to shop. A top may cost $50, a pair of pants or sweatshirt $75, and outerwear more like $100. What you get for that is a well-made item that's both functional and attractive, made for movement, and in many cases suitable for athletic, outdoor use. They're well-sewn, using technical fabrics and other synthetics, as well as some cotton and wool. They will also help you with items from the mail-order catalog, if you want to order something that's not in the store, or have a problem or return. I have been happy with 95% of what I've ordered from them for the past five years or so. Having the store is even better, because it takes out the guesswork.
