4DX Review - Jurassic Franchise Continues…read more When I first heard about a new installment in the Jurassic Park franchise, the novice paleontologist in me was giddy like a schoolgirl. That excitement hit another level once tickets went on sale--she fully came out! This movie took a different turn than the previous ones, which I actually appreciated. It wasn't just the same old storyline rehashed. That said, it did have its share of slow scenes that didn't always lead anywhere. While the dinosaur action was fun to watch--and let's be real, that's why we're here--it still only made the grade of a solid C overall. Also, I really wish they had offered it in 4DX/IMAX. That combo would've made the experience much more immersive and thrilling.

Before this we watched 2 parties be served before us while we were completey ignored. All of are born in the 1990s absolutely ridiculous ruined our entire experience before we even walked into the theater we paid for Emma took responsibility and wouldn't let us know the employee working under her's name. Maybe hire someone who knows how to bartend and/ manage because neither of these employees know how to do so!

GO IN THE MEN'S ROOM and see what your "guests" are dealing with then CALL A FUCKING PLUMBER. Check out the oil in the unlabeled dispenser for popcorn (it ain't BUTTER, honey). Taste it even. Get new chairs. Original review follows ... the only way I could have been more dissatisfied with Regal is getting this SHITTY apology. Movie fans: try Landmark. They actually CARE about their guests. Original review. When you're paying $60 for a pair of iMAX tickets on a weeknight, get it right. The men's room (left side of the iMAX): all FOUR URINALS out of order. So a line out the door before and after. Must be a consistent problem because this Regal has white fitted plastic bags with the label "Urinal out of order" printed on them. The seats desperately need reupholstered. Even little things like the "butter" which isn't even a butter-flavored oil, are just worthless. (Actually: how would I know it's for the popcorn? It's a stainless steel box without a label and push button to dispense. Judging from the taste, I'm beginning to think it was 3in1 oil left out by the maintenance people.) Do it right or at LEAST BETTER or close this dilapidated place. Ridiculous.

Being invited to the final film screening at the 40th Annual Denver Film Festival, I couldn't pass up the change to channel my inner starlet! First of all, the Denver Film Society is just plain awesome and hosts annual events that feature a wide variety of films. Join as a member, filmmaker or just go as a guest - because you will feel like a true star! We met a variety of hosts, the director of I, Tonya, and learned all about the society before the screening. The festivals occur each year, with varying events offered throughout the year. I can't wait to return - and walk the red carpet!

But wait! You and you alone can change this. You can join. And should. Membership is cheap and benefits are huuuuge. Once, while talking to a board member of the organization, I asked how many members they had. I had guessed it was in the tens of thousands. Turned out it was in the hundreds. Whoa. What's with that? Given the great work they do with the Denver Film Festival, Film On The Rocks, and doing the programming for the Starz Theater at the Tivoli, these folks need all the support they can get. They've had their political / administrative challenges. That's for sure (http://www.denverpost.com/ci_12520398), but they're great folks, working hard to bring the best of independent films to Denver. Let's see how we can drag them outta the doldrums. Go yelpers. Go.
