After feeding a pregnant stray cat and taking care of her little kittens, at 5 month olds I could…read moreno longer continue to keep them (apartment complex was not allowing any pets and it was apparent to them that I had them inside). I was heartbroken because I had formed an attachment with both of my kittens but i knew I had to secure them a good life... I didn't want them to become stray kittens and this is where Love Fur Paws Rescue came into play. They provided me with a great sense of relief knowing that the people in charge share the same care and love towards my little babies. All my questions were addressed and although I was very saddened to leave my 2 peeps behind, I knew they were in great hands. Also, keep in mind cats/ kittens are left to fully roam around the house and not kept in any sort of cages so from there you know their wellbeing is being put first. Im grateful I found a place and person who values the lives of these precious animals

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Love Fur Paws. I brought in three very young kittens…read moretoday, and giving them up was incredibly emotional for me. I was in tears and completely overwhelmed, and I was met with nothing but kindness, patience, and compassion. What really amazed me was watching how experienced and capable they were with the kittens. Within literally about ten minutes, she had all three babies fed full bottles, stimulated, comfortable, and peacefully back to sleep. Seeing how naturally and lovingly she cared for them immediately reassured me that I had brought them to the right place. They took what was an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking situation for me and made it so much easier. They even offered to send me updates and pictures of the kittens as they grow until they are eventually adopted, which means more to me than I can possibly explain. I am forever grateful to Love Fur Paws for taking these babies in, caring for them, and showing me so much compassion during such an emotional moment. Knowing that they are safe, fed, warm, and being cared for by people who clearly know exactly what they are doing has given me such peace of mind. Thank you so much for everything you did for me and, most importantly, for these little babies. I will never forget the kindness you showed us today.

I left a voicemail simply asking if there was a chance he had been brought here. Penny returned my call, and from the very beginning, she was incredibly rude and dismissive. Instead of showing even a little compassion, I was told, "Midway City is a bit far for a cat to walk," "Next pet you have, make sure you microchip them," and "He was probably eaten by a coyote or hit by a car." None of those comments were helpful, appropriate, or necessary. I wasn't looking for a lecture or worst-case scenarios--I was simply asking if there was a possibility my dad's missing cat had been brought in. When people call about a missing pet, they're already going through an incredibly stressful and emotional time. A little kindness and empathy go a long way. Unfortunately, that was completely lacking in this interaction. Do better.

Don't waste your time with this "rescue". They are in no hurry to get animals adopted. Got a…read morevoicemail from some grouchy lady telling me to send an application after I had followed up several days after hearing nothing back from submitting. In my call I specifically told them I was following up on my application and to text me when they received it. Waited another few days, heard nothing about if they had found my application, then the email I sent to follow up came back as undelivered and not accepting emails so I guess their email doesn't even work. So, complete waste of time. Disorganized. And with all the time I spent answering all their invasive questions which included my drivers license and personal information, you think they could at least, I don't know, answer the damn phone and follow simple directions without leaving a condescending @$$ voicemail on my phone. I feel really bad for the animals stuck with these people. Stay away and go with a rescue that isn't here to waste your time. Pay attention to the 1 star reviews. I didn't and here I am now making my own.

I adopted my forever kitty at Cats in Need of Human Care in Fullerton, at a PetSmart…read more I met Mary, the manager, and Kimberly, the foster parent of the kitty I was interested in bringing home. Kimberly was informative, helpful, and friendly with providing information and letting me see her foster. She was patient and let me spend as much time as I wanted with the kitty to get acquainted with her. Mary handled the application and provided an abundance of information regarding the adoption process and bringing kitty home. She went through our information that we filled out in our application and asked us any questions she needed to know in regards to potential adoption, which makes perfect sense in wanting the best for their foster cats! The volunteers truly care about these cats and it shows. I highly recommend anyone who is serious about adopting a cat to consider Cats in Need Fullerton to find their furrever friend! Thank you Cats in Need Fullerton team!

It's a complete waste of your time, and you'll end up leaving frustrated regardless of what your need is. Read through the reviews posted in 2021, and you can see that they all speak for the same experience I had. Try another rescue. I have 2 separate occasions when I contacted them - (1) when I tried to adopt a second cat, and (2) when I found a stray kitten and tried to get it taken to a rescue. Both occasions went to total trash. For situation #1, I was denied because apparently there are too many coyotes and raccoons living in my area (La Mirada). I live in a area right next to an elementary school where kids walk to school everyday. I've yet to see a coyote or a raccoon in this neighborhood, clearly they don't know their geography and don't do any research. For situation #2, they asked for a photo of the cat, and after sending the pictures no reply ever since. I have a feeling they'll only take kittens that look pretty and would sell for money, which defeats the purpose of a rescue to begin with. Don't waste your time here unless you want to leave with a bad taste in your mouth.
