I went the day after Christmas to do my meet and greet and spent an hour with her asking questions. I never felt rushed. I never felt like I was irritating her, she was just fabulous. Everything this rescue does seems to be top-notch. They even feed a high and more expensive food which completely impressed me because puppy nutrition is so important. The dog gladly jumped into my car to get out of the down pour and I drove it to this animal shelter (yes, it vomited all over the back seat of my car). However, after reviewing the survey, a staff member named Casey decided that the kittens were "not a good fit" for me without ever allowing me to interact with them.What was frustrating was that the decision seemed to be made solely based on the survey, with no opportunity for me to meet the kittens or discuss my experience with pets. Casey repeatedly stated that the kittens were "mouthy," as if I wasn't aware that kittens can bite, scratch, and be playful while they're still young. Rather than allowing us to interact with them and make an informed decision, we were simply told it wasn't worth it because they weren't a good fit. I understand the importance of finding suitable homes for animals, but making assumptions about potential adopters without even allowing an interaction felt unfair and discouraging. I left feeling judged and dismissed instead of supported through the adoption process.

I brought my first cat to be neutered in about 2012. You have to call to schedule. He was in at 8am and by the afternoon. The wait times to see a veterinarian can be very long depending on how many patients show up. Appointments can also be backed up because of emergencies. I have an aggressive dog and they are very understanding about her needs. They also help pets having emergencies. Nobody is turned away. It was really hard to find any practice like this when the location was closed temporarily. I'm glad this location is open and I hope they stay open.

So, complete waste of time. Disorganized. And with all the time I spent answering all their invasive questions which included my drivers license and personal information, you think they could at least, I don't know, answer the damn phone and follow simple directions without leaving a condescending @$$ voicemail on my phone. I feel really bad for the animals stuck with these people. Stay away and go with a rescue that isn't here to waste your time. Pay attention to the 1 star reviews.
