This is the go-to place in Central MA for getting your iDevice fixed and maintained. I have had several repairs done here over the years, with the most recent one being a battery replacement for my aging iPhone 8. They support iPhones as old as the 6 and as new as the 13, so there is a huge range of options once your AppleCare expires. The new battery for my old device was $49 installed. Even if you can get the parts for less, there is something to be said for having an experienced tech do the job quickly and correctly. Needing a new screen for an iPAD, I found David and Mike quite by accident via a Google search/ I had intended to mail it off somewhere to have it fixed and had actually found what seemed to be a reputable place out in Chicago that seemed to have satisfied quite a few Yelpers. Looking a bit further down at the search results, I found 911 right here in Auburn. I was more then happy to pay a few dollars more not to have to send it somewhere out of state and be without it for at least a few days. These guys were extremely nice and had it ready for me, looking like new, the next day. They actually offered to have it ready in an hour, but I had to go to work to pay for it. So yeah, when you drop & shatter the iPhone that you're borrowing from a friend, you kind of go into panic mode. I read some online reviews & gave this place a shot. The phone was fixed while we waited (no appointment), we were given a new bumper for the phone, and he even fixed the on/off button that was broken. We were given a discount because we paid in cash. I've dropped my phone dozens of times before it happened. Once the first crack started it was probably a month or 2 until the screen went all "hot pink collage" on me. At that point my phone only worked as a deejay playing music in my car so I needed to do something. This place was close and I'd driven by it a ton so I looked it up. It was tough making it there on my work schedule, since he's open 10-6 Monday through Friday only but I made it by an inch one Friday. Usually it's $100 to replace the screen, I was up charged $25.... because my phone is an iPhone 7? I'm not really clear on that as I didn't get a receipt. I waited in my car, which is fine, "covid". But after when he walked it out to me, no explanation, no receipt, and I already paid. Since then I've had significant sensitivity issues where my screen doesn't register that I'm touching a key or thinkings I'm still holding it down. Sometimes it registers that I'm pressing down random letters over and over and I eventually I have restart my phone. I called at one point to tell him and he said there is a 30-day guarantee... But he never gave me a receipt and heck if I remember when I went my damn calendar was broken! Not that I would go back anyway. Don't recommend, honestly. read more

I found this place on yelp. It had the most and best reviews. This is definitely warranted. I came in with a broken iPhone 5--cracked screen and vertical strips running down the right-hand side of the LCD screen. This section of the touch screen no longer worked, making it hard to use many of the phone functions. The two guys working at the shop were super friendly and helpful. One of them took a quick look at my phone and listened to what I wanted done. He showed me a price chart ($99 for lcd screen replacement--which is fair given that Apple charges $129) and even offered to clean out the area around my camera lens (no charge) which I had meant to ask about but he beat me to it. The phone was ready in 30 minutes. When I picked it up I had an interesting conversation with the other guy about the new iPhones. He's very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I cracked the screen on my phone earlier in the week and tried fixing it myself, mistake #1. The more I attempted to dive down the DIY route, the worse the problems grew and I ended up severing the LCD ribbon where I could see the display, but the touchscreen couldn't register my input. I recently got into the jucing craze and had a bucket of freshly made carrot, kale, cucumber, lettuce, lemon and apple juice made - somehow my 1 month old iPhone 5S made it's way to the bottom of that bucket. This place is absolutely amazing. I first got a battery replacement a few months ago and it completely fixed my problem of my phone turning off randomly. Then I dropped my phone in water and I put it in rice which solved the problem but then I shattered my phone so I took it back to 911 repair and they did the screen replacement amazingly but during the replacement he saw that my battery was expanding most likely due to the water damage and he replaced my battery free of cost. So after reading all the stellar reviews about these guys I felt like I should go give them a shot. My iPhone 6S had stopped charging and was dead and unable to exchange data to my new phone via the charger port. Verizon AND Best Buy BOTH looked at the phone and had determined I needed a new one. End up switching to a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge... Big mistake as I just could not get comfortable with the new operating system and didn't like that it was not compatible with my iPad etc. After 6 months I gave up and decided to see if my iPhone could be fixed? I went to 911 iPhone repair and the pleasant man behind the counter asked me what was the problem I was experiencing with my iPhone? I told him and he said "Let me take a look". Well,... He took it from my hand and looked at my phones charge port and said, "It could just be dirty". Yup, he said, looks like allot of lint is down deep in there. With that he grabbed a tool and picked out some lint that no one had bothered to notice or attempted to clean out before... I had looked in and was not able to see this either, but Verizon and Best Buy should have. Well anyway, he did this for all of about 25 seconds then plugged in a charge cord to it and PRESTO! It worked perfectly! I NEVER NEEDED A NEW PHONE! These guys are the BEST!!! Not only did he fix my phone that everyone else said was dead and needed to be replaced, but did it in record time with complete confidence and handed it back to me accompanied by a few words that just put the whole thing over the edge,.... "Here you go, NO CHARGE"!!! They could have just said "we'll try to fix it" then gave me a bill for $100 or so and I would have been happy and none the wiser.
