Computer problems always get resolved when GSS gets involved. Since the early 90s, I've always did my best to protect my families vulnerability to all thing virtual. Updated 5/1/19 After a few rounds of negotiations I was about to abort repairs and move one. GSS then offered make it right at no more cost to me. Phone is repaired for original quote even though I offered to split the contested part cost. Phone was returned in as new condition, no marks from handling or abuse and all functions work as designed. Process took far longer than wanted or planned but stuff happens and the phone is working again which is the important part. So I bumped up the rating a few stars. Would I go back for more repairs- maybe end of edit So far not so good. Took Moto g5 phone for charge port change and a new battery while the case was open. Getting parts took far longer than stated. After almost a week I get a call saying my digitizing screen is broken. I told them I was very unhappy and that screen was working prior to disassembly. Waiting for a call back now after tech said he would talk to owner. The quoted price was pretty high IMHO but we agreed. Communication has been okay with a few issues. I was led to believe work would take 1-1.5hrs and could wait for it, come in anytime between 10-6. Came in at 10:45 after parts came in and tech doesn't start till noon! Kinda pissed at that. 26 hours later is when they call me screen is broken. read more

First off we needed the computer wiped clean and to just reinstall windows and make sure all is working properly, very simple. Also we needed a new key in the keyboard. So the first thing is we called the first time and was told they would be open for a few more hours, well we drive there only to find its closed after being told open. Then we get charged almost 150$ for a reinstall of windows which for some reason she got there the computer had no internet search engine so we had to wait for him to download that, then orders the wrong key and then loses our charging cord and we are stuck there while he casually looks for our belongings seeming not to care. I felt highly over priced and took days for something done in a few hours. Me and my girlfriend were not satisfied to say the least and cheated out of money. We asked for simple tasks and everyone was an issue with this place. I never do this but to over charge and nothing is done properly. Thanks for nothing guys.... read more

GSS is a small, nicely run company in Oxford, MA that I have been using to fix my computer problems. It is comforting to be able to stop locally with no parking problems, no hour waits, and friendly service. They can remotely fix some problems. If they're busy, they'll call you back. Their prices have been remarkably reasonable. I was happy to find that they work on cell phones. One of our phones jumped off a boat and I'll take it in soon to see what they can do.
