I don't want to break that 5 star streak nor is this even worth 4; It's more of a 3.8 but I will be nice. I spoke to Jessica via email, phone call and text. I had scheduled for a move a week in advance and was told of pricing per hour. She was kind and helpful. Upon the date of move, I received at text that stated the time of when the movers would arrived, 35 mins after my appointment time due to customer misinforming the movers. No biggy. Then that appointment continue to get pushed back further and further till it was 2 hours past what I had initially scheduled for. Mind you, the week of move was raining, too. Again, not blaming the movers since they had to adjust their time with the previous customer and rain being part of the factor. Once the movers finally arrived, they did what they needed to do but the time they started and time they finished wasn't even close to two hours so we had to pay for the two hours, plus items being wet from said rain, and on top of that, since I was on a work call, my hubby felt obligated to tip them...we didn't have a lot of stuff and they weren't driving our items to our destination. She was extremely responsive. There's no hidden fees or prices. We opted for 2 movers at $130 per hour to move items out of our 1800 square foot home in Sacramento to Del Dorado hills. It started at 9am and didn't finish until 7pm. Didn't realize how much stuff we had, only thing I wish I did was select an additional mover. One main thing that I truly appreciate is how they took the time to properly wrap items such as the dressers and any pieces with corners that could easily get damaged. They know how to pack everything in the truck to ensure items are placed correctly without damaging anything. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Planning, estimate/quote: I communicated with Jessica to plan my move from a 2 bed apartment to a house and she was very thorough with their services and expectations. She sent a confirmation and reminder for the day of my move and also let us know who'd be helping me. Packing, moving, unloading: Alex and Zhao were the two that helped with the actual moving process. Alex was also very communicative and always made sure to confirm with me on what to pack and where to unload after moving. Him and Zhao made it look so easy to load their giant moving trailer and really did things pretty efficiently. They wrapped everything that looked fragile with either plastic wrap or a moving blanket and made sure to also tape it. When they started unloading, they also put down some covers to make sure the dolly's weren't messing up the floor. How long: It took them about 4.5 hours to load the trailer, move, and then unload everything. My wife and I did some packing beforehand (mostly kitchenware, closet stuff, and tech), so it would have been longer if we had them pack everything. However, I thought they did a fantastic job and worked faster than expected. I really appreciate and thankful their work and would recommend using their service! read more

They took only two ten minute breaks and did a working lunch during the drive to the new home. Fast to disassemble furniture and reassemble. Quality - they were nice enough tk take their shoes off inside the new home when moving everything which is way above and beyond due to safety, covered my staircase with padding and wrapped everything well. Update: they gave me a partial credit for the future move bringing down the total hours to less than 4 which I think was fair. I highly appreciate any business that bends backwards to keep the customers happy. As result, I'm bring it up to 4 stars. It would've been 5 stars of they actually completed in less than 4 hours. I'm taking a star off because of the hassle. --------- 5 hours total to move 1 br into a storage. That's not exactly "fast". It took 3 hours just to unload into storage. One issue was the slow elevator. There were a few other people moving in/out and they ended up waiting long time for elevator every time. I suggested them to move the stuff by the elevator and then load the elevator at once. They refused mumbling something about inconveniencing other people. But parties taking turn and fully loading up the elevator is actually a lot more efficient than multiple parties moving a few items at the same time because they'd be moving stuff to the elevator instead of just sitting and waiting for elevator in order to move just an item. They continued to take items one at a time even after other parties finished and long gone, and we had the elevator all to ourselves. The outcome was that the unloading took at least twice as long as it should've been Then there was the difficulty getting the 8 ft couch out of the apartment. I don't remember having a problem when I moved in. But they just couldn't figure out how to get it out. They tried taking the doors off etc for about 30 min. They finally got it out by sliding one end from the bottom and then rotating upward vertically. When I saw that, I immediately remembered that's how they got it in without much difficulty when I moved in. You'd think professional movers know this kind of tricks without having to spend 30 minutes. read more

They were fantastic. Just had them move us. It was a lot of stuff. It ended up taking 7 hours because it was so much stuff and the move was like 30 minutes away. They were very careful and wrapped lots of stuff for us, they had moving blankets and wrapped the tvs in the blankets and then plastic wrap. Moved a big fridge and washer and dryer. Fridge didn't fit out the door or in the new door so they took the front doors off both houses, which they did quickly and easily and put them back on easily too. They were nice and courteous the whole time, even though it ended up taking a long time and in the rain. It took a long time because it was so much stuff, not because they were taking awhile as movers. One of the guys who was the driver had to leave because it was taking so long and he had obligations, so they called someone else in to drive and unload. They arrived at the new house 15 minutes later than they otherwise would have, and immediately said since they had to wait for 15 minutes for the new driver they were crediting me 20 minutes off my time. I didn't even have to ask them for that. They took a little longer than the last movers I used. But the last movers just kinda rushed and tossed everything in and even smashed my wall. They were good movers too and were sorry about the wall (just a chip). But 916 Fast Moving were a lot more careful with all the stuff and wrapped everything really well. They were fast too, but also more careful and methodical with all the items. So if you want your stuff taken care of by a good moving company, this would be the company to go with. They were also much cheaper by the hour than all the other moving companies, while taking extremely good care of all my items. Highly recommend.
