They're opening another location soon in Pueblo so there's more chances of people trying their amazing food. I really enjoyed this place! My brother and I got 4 different flavors: Original, Cheese Snow, Honey Garlic, and Yangnyeom. My favorite was yangnyeom and my brother's favorite was Honey Garlic. The original was pretty yummy too, with or without sauce. The chicken was crispy and overall super flavorful. I can't say much for the service or ambiance of the place as this was a pickup order. However, the food was ready when it said it would be and the chicken was still warm when it got home. It's hard to find really good Korean food in the Springs, and this has to be one of my favorites. My only complaint is that I wish you could choose at least two flavors across 10 wings, instead of having to order 10 of each flavor regardless. Would totally recommend! read more

Not the best experience at 92 Chicken. I came for lunch and was the only guest in the restaurant. I ordered the lunch special wings and fries. It took a while for the food to come out, which I didn't mind since I wasn't in a hurry and assumed the fresh food would be worth the wait. As I waited, I watched the KPop they had on the TV, which was pretty cute. Unfortunately, when the food finally did come about 10-15 minutes later, it was the wrong order. I had ordered the wings as was indicated on my receipt but the lady insisted I said strips, which is what they brought out. I showed her the receipt, where it said "wings" and sarcastically, she took the plate and walked away. I sat there for about 10 more minutes while they presumably made the wings. I believe they used the same fries because they were really cold when the food came out. The wings were cooked to death and when I bit into it, it was mostly breading which didn't have much flavor. I only ended up eating about half of it and throwing the rest away. Unfortunately not high marks for food or service but 1 star added for the ambiance provided by the Kpop music. Best KFC in town. The tenders and wings have a light and perfect crisp, no oily taste. The toppings and flavorings are unique to Colorado Springs (though expected at legit KFC joints) and some flavors were especially creative. We ordered Green Chile Creamy Onion and the Snow cheese specifically and found both very tasty. The menu photos look just like what you get. The owner is proud of her food and hustles the menu in a warm and welcoming way. She showed us an order of Junk Fries with lots of toppings. She came out and chatted with us about how they hand cut the tenders and change the oil daily. We have tried Bonchon and Angry and didn't crave it afterward. OMG this place is worthy of every 5 star review. I was visiting garden of the gods and looking for a place nearby on the old yelper to take the fam and this place came up. Love Korean fried chicken. Love fried chicken in general. We all agreed this was the spot. Easy to fine and had a large group leaving just as we arrived. There was a family inside when we went in. We were immediately greeted by the lady behind the counter. We tried to sit first and she said no come up here so I can show you everything lol and she did a great job explaining how it worked. Took a couple of menus back to the table and then the decisions started. So many options of sauces for your chicken. I went with some wings original fried. My son had the tenders in the Galbi sauce. My younger son had tenders and fried s and his mother had the drumsticks with two sauces, soy garlic and yangnyeom which was recommended. First off, these drumsticks are huuuuuuuuge. I don't know how someone would eat 6. The sauces were both very good. The yang is a wet sauce while the soy garlic is dry. The fry on the wings was excellent. Just original fried hit the spot. Super crispy. The house fries were also very good. They come with an omg sauce my son loved. The owner came over and talked to us about everything. And he was very proud of it. Please note that even though their 10 piece portions look pricy, they are also pretty big for one person, so if you are getting tenders (that's what I get) - think of one portion for two people, or you'll have plenty of leftovers. We arrived with very little time before an event in Colorado Springs and decided we would try 92 chicken. We made an excellent decision! We were greeted warmly by the proprietors and they patiently answered our questions about the different flavors and dishes. After we placed our order, the meal was brought to our table in an impressively short amount of time. Everything was hot and fresh. I had to try the cheese monster tenders and they did not disappoint, especially the dipping sauce! We also tried the "junk fries" (off menu item) based on the recommendation of the manager and we are so glad we did. One order is enough to share and we highly recommend you add it to your order too! I'd rate 92 chicken 100/10! Everything was amazing! The owners are the nicest people you could meet and you can really tell they put a lot of love and pride into the food they make! I wish I had taken a picture but I was to excited to eat lol I got the sweet onion with spicy garlic sauce on the drumsticks and it was too die for, honestly so delicious!! Also the portion was huge! We also got plain tenders for my husband (he's boring lol) dumplings and fries everything was so good and very fresh. The owner said they change oil every day (if you know restaurant industry that's unheard of) and you can really tell everything has a fresh light taste no heavy oily or greasy flavor at all. We had never been here before and honestly, we won't ever be going back. The food was not the best. We got some dumplings, tiokki bokki, and bulgogi. The dumplings were good, and I think that's mostly because they came from a frozen bag. The tiokki bokki was just not that good. It was way too fishy and just tasted like the prepackaged stuff I can buy from World Market. The bulgogi honestly kind of just looked and tasted like dog food. It also wasn't even hot like it just came out of the kitchen. It was like it was just sitting there before she brought it to us. The owner seemed upset because we weren't eating the food and asked if we didn't like it. She hovered for a minute then went and sat down. They offer drumsticks, wings and boneless chicken breast options, fried and stirred in sauces of your choice. We got sweet onion, sweet and spicy, no sauce and bulgogi sauce and all of them were unique in taste. No fuss finger licking good fried chicken. They have a lot of sides like pickled radish, coleslaw and kimchi to go with it. Next time we plan to try their curry,kalbi and creamy with jalapeno sauce. I stopped in a little after the big lunch crowd today. No big crowd or long wait for me. After a brief look at the menu, I chose the spicy garlic sauce on boneless wings, with a scoop of steamed rice on the side and a Coke Zero. It was so good! We ordered two lunch specials one wing and one tender... Ordered the yangnyeom and lemon sauces. They offered their sauces on the counter as well including pickled radish. We loved the pickled radish it was amazing! The service was amazing and we were brought a larger portion to share. The attention to detail and flavor of the chicken were amazing. The crispness of the chicken wing was amazing and biting into it was incredible. Juicy and crunchy while cooked to perfection. We wondered why there were gloves on the tables but as anyone knows when eating wings your fingers get messy. We cannot wait to return and try the soy spring onion wings... we told our server we would be back she just smiled and said I will remember you. The whole idea behind Korean fried chicken is that it is supposed to be super crunchy on the outside, while perfectly juicy inside, right? At least that's been my experience in the past. We were splitting an order of wings and a basket of fries. One of us loves spice, the other needs a bit tamer flavor profile. We were told by the owner to order the yangnyeom sauce, which is billed as sweet with a mild kick. Ok. Let's try it! Turns out it is ALL sweet, no kick whatsoever. A disappointment. I don't live in the area, so will probably not visit again. However, some of their other sauces looked delicious. I don't normally leave negative reviews but had to make an exception for my horrendous experience here with me and my family. This place used to be good until the new owner started cutting corners and lack customer service and quality control. First, you can tell they were serving us fried chicken that was left out. We ordered about 7-8 orders of chicken and they were all room temperature that came out within ten minutes. Not only that, the fried chicken all had curry seasoning even the ones that came sauced, indicating that they were recycling left over previously made curry chicken. Even the original chicken had curry flavoring. Absolutely horrendous. About 8 of us all agreed that the chicken was not well prepared, not fresh, and just tasted weird. In terms of their side street food (tteokboki), they just use prepackaged ones from Korean grocery stories and just warm it up. Second, the lady made us sooo uncomfortable. She messed up our order, but kept trying to argue with us that she is in the right. She made it seem like we were trying to ask her for another dish, when simply it didn't come out. After four back and forth over the course of eating our meal, she realized she was wrong and brought us out last order at the last minute. She didn't even apologize. It turns out, the chicken was just sitting in the kitchen and she had forgotten to give it to us. She kept telling us that the fried chicken here is better than what they sell in Korea, which is an absolute joke. It's worse than many other US chains. And to add fuel to the fire, she kept repeatedly begging us to leave us a good yelp review. So don't trust the other reviews. If you want a mediocre Korean fried chicken that cuts corners paired with horrendous customer service, feel free to waste your money at this location.
