It's not often that I can say every item I order is great but at Shuga's everything really is great. Shuga's Favorite Cafe Tray is an order that could satisfy one's entire meal but is best when shared as a starter or if you are looking for a light meal. The Mediterranean selection with the hummus and tapenade is amazing with the coconut shrimp soup being a must try with its creamy and spiciness. Though I love the almond butter cake the most to add a little dessert to the meal. The Madame of the Pletzl is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The bagel is perfectly salted and has a wonderful crunch the sandwich needs. The egg melts into the sandwich, mixing with everything it needs to. The ham is fried up to crisp it up a bit but the ham seems to be lacking flavor wise compared to everything else in the sandwich. The Cuban Mojo Sandwich also is an amazing sandwich. The pork shoulder is crisped up nicely and works so well with everything else. The winter soup was a tomato soup with some grilled cheese croutons and it is the best tomato soup I've ever had. The tomato soup isn't puréed, there are noticeable definitions in the tomatoes in the soup. The soup isn't too acidic which is the usual issue in tomato soups. The croutons really amplify this dish on to another level and I just wish there were more in my soup. I can't wait to come back here and my biggest issue will to try and order new things.

First the place is eclectic has outdoor even had a yurt you can eat in. The service was very good attentive when needed and very helpful with questions. The food is fantastic I got the shrimp count soup add the twist made it a ramen bowl and it was awesome. My wife had the pork chop ramen was good but the pork chop was very salty.Only thing that we could pick on. Highly recommend all the food looked awesome.

This was recommended by my cousin before my visit to Colorado. She had given me a list of places to eat, I was going to try 3 off those from the list, I decided i skip this eventually. However, when I went to other restaurants that I went from that list and asked what they recommend that I try.........all of them mentioned Shugas!! When your competition is recommending this spot...you just get grated. Do it even need to say more? I was just stuffed, I still made a stop for a drink and I loved it!! Service was great and definitely has an unique character with a phone booth and outside seating.

Came here with a few work colleagues and had a great time. Sat outside in the climate controlled tent (there's a name for it) and it made for an intimate atmosphere. Servers were extremely nice and checked on us often, food and drinks came out pretty quick. Only had a light bite, but the bruschetta was great. Tomatoes and basil were fresh and if they put the whole baguette in front of me I could have eaten it. And then some. Wish it had a little more salt and maybe a balsamic glaze but overall it hit the spot!

I decided on this place because I wanted sandwiches, something light. I had no idea what it looked like or anything. This place was so well designed, it was really a pleasant and very welcoming atmosphere. And this place was PACKED!!. We sat at the bar. Watching the bar tender do his thing and making his drinks, how all the staff maneuver around without being in each other's way, was quite intriguing! I ordered the "Rufus stole the chicken, too" and the creamy asparagus soup (seasonal), with a Spanish coffee. The coffee was really really good and the presentation was very nice! The soup and sandwich came out and the soup was heavenly!! The soup was the best soup I've ever had!! I ordered a cup, but I should have ordered a bowl! I inhaled it! I'd never had this type of soup and wow.. just wow!!! The sandwich was also delicious! I seen a couple order a 2-part drink, and found out it was coconut cold brew with coconut cream. That drink was extremely good as well! It even came with coconut crisps! Everything I ordered here was amazing!!! This was a great way to start our day! I really want to go back!

This spot was a random choice between my friend and I visiting from out of town, but we were so glad we made that choice. Shuga's was delicious for both food and's drink options (alcoholic and non). I'd gladly come back for these tasty sandwiches and drinks. I got the Montreal Village sandwich, and though I wished the peppered honey was a little stronger, the Brie cheese was melty and salty which balanced the sweetness from the apples, honey, and ham. The café was cozy inside and the servers were some of the friendliest. I can see why it's been around for over 20 years.

I don't know a soup and sandwich can be so magical, but Shuga's figured it out! The asparagus soup was probably the best soup I've ever had. I don't know how but it is! I tried to recreate it at home but I couldn't make it as great as this. The sandwich was also really good! Pistachio, garlic, porchetta, mozzarella, basil scallion butter... what's not to love? It was balanced and actually quite filling! Everything came out super fast and our server was very nice. I loved the outdoor seating area--it was so quaint and cutely decorated! I would love to come back for drinks and to sit at the bar. It just feels comforting inside. My friend and I will definitely be back soon!

Let's start with the pros: -Tasty food -Friendly service -Fun atmosphere The cons: -Very small portions -Long wait time for food -Yurt was colder than outside

I've been wanting to try this place out for a bit! They had a lot of cocktail and drink options, a good amount of their snacking options too. You can definitely tell the ingredients are very fresh so I enjoyed that a lot. The tomato bruschetta was very tasty and light. The grape one was high quality too but just wasn't for my tastes (I'd still recommend trying it). Cute little place too, just very loud when busy. Super nice people working here. The menu is limited but they're a small bites place anyways. They had a lot seafood options

My husband asked to have another table and she seemed happy to accommodate. The place was nearly empty after all. The vibe is pretty cool. It has cool old-timey brick walls and a tin ceiling ... They had a good amount of filling, eggs, crispy bacon, onion, pico de gallo. I asked for a side of extra pico. I was surprised that they don't have a salsa. Oh well. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito. It's his standard order. He says that of all the breakfast burritos he's eaten ... and it's an impressive amount ... this one was the best ever. The green chili that it was smothered in had a bit of heat which appreciated. The burrito was very generously stuffed. Best. Breakfast Burrito. Ever. WOW. That's quite the compliment. This weekend though, I ordered the chicken and waffles, which was one of my favorites, check the previous photos, it was AMAZING! This time, with the new menu, I would not ever order them again. The chicken was a not close to what it used to be or could be on a sandwich and be worthy to serve, it less than a 1/2in thick including the breading, the small waffles were soggy, and it was just unappetizing to look at on top of it. The syrup saved it, but that's saying a lot as it's just syrup... I really was looking forward to the chicken and waffles that used to be here as that was the entire reason for brunch here today, and I'll not order this again if this is what it is now. The steak Benedict was great though and well enjoyed by my wife, she loved it and the steak was perfectly cooked. We've been here 15-20 times and this was the only disappointing time since the ownership change or whatever took place. Unfortunate as we love it here, but this was not at the level it was before.
