I wanted to like this studio, but was left sorely disappointed…read more The studio is beautiful and spacious, although I found the huge store in the front a bit pretentious, with all the tarot card decks, crystals, etc. that was just too bougie for my taste. I was also disappointed by the instructors. The first instructor got all righteous and told us how "sad" we made her feel after she asked people to move over to make space and we didn't automatically respond, in part because some were confused about which way we should move (it was a very large class of more than 50 people.) She treated us like an annoyed mother telling her children how disappointed she was with them. I did get a good workout, but was a bit perturbed by her ungenerous feeling toward us. Give people the benefit of doubt before reprimanding them! The teacher of the other class was also off putting as she started her class by asking students what yoga meant to them. I don't think it's appropriate to quiz students about why they're in class and then subject others to their answers. Others might disagree, but I just want to practice and then get on with my day, not be tested to see that my relationship with yoga is intact. Needless to say, this studio is not for me!

I've been aware of Indigo for a few years, never got myself there, until February of 2026. While I'm not incredibly spiritual, it's one of those things that made me wonder what finally got me through that door. The diversity of the teachers and offerings is amazing. They have 2 yoga studios and there are options every day. The fact that there are classes and events on Friday evenings, Sunday evenings when I find the desire to unwind and treat myself to some self care, icing on the cake. I'm so happy to have found a new community to practice and grow in.

I met Loan at another studio, and was lucky to find her again at Earth and Sea. The classes are…read moresmall, and there is lots of individual attention. I have taken yoga for many years, and she is one of the finest instructors I have ever had. Her classes can be challenging, but she always reminds us that we do not have to hold the poses, and offers easier options. Her kindness fills the room. Her cuing is easy to follow, and her adjustments are spot-on. The studio is spacious, cool, and well-lighted. There are mats and props. There is enough parking and the commute from Danville is not a problem.

She takes the time to explain the equipment and let's us warm up by paddling around the marina...which is SOOOO much fun! Shanna's instruction is really easy to follow and she tries to keep an eye on each student's form to let us know where to improve. Earth and Sea Yoga is ALWAYS super relaxing and I feel great after every class. She's also VERY understanding when it comes to cancelling a class, you just have to email her or give her a call. She only has 5 boards and she usually has a wait list so if you need to cancel make sure to do it before the class and she has no problem getting you a refund or crediting it for another class. I can't wait to get back out on the water w/ Earth and Sea Yoga.

I love CorePower period. The sequences and the teachers across studios rarely disappoint. When you…read morefind one you love, it can be really awesome. Honestly the sequences are all relatively similar but it's something about the instructors alignment of their music to their sequence that resonates most with me when I practice. I generally do sculpt and so there's more beat to movement but I do love the C2s as well. I was a long time member until I moved out of the area. I would say that this studio gets a 4 star is because the time I attended the most, their heat was broken for a good 3 weeks and so classes were canceled. It made it difficult for a few weeks but also the studios are upstairs then the 2nd downstairs but you can't exit that way, you have to go up and back down to exit. I don't mind a few more steps added to my daily goal but it didn't make much sense. I did appreciate that it was handicap accesible though so maybe that's why.

I think the woman was just used to folks who are pretty familiar with their setup, so she spoke at lightning speed and didn't really leave much room for questions. But once she asked if I had take a hot yoga class before, I was a little puzzled. I have, but I now have a medical condition that prevents me from feeling totally comfortable with taking that risk, so I specifically looked for yoga classes that weren't heated. (You wouldn't believe how hard that seems to be to find these days!) Once she let me know, I had to leave and unfortunately, I never got the credits back from ClassPass. The lack of cooler classes aside, the space was clean and sanitary. It seemed like it could be a nice place for a workout if they had something available that was up my alley.
