Met up with some friends. Great place to have pizza and drinks. I did not particularly like my garlic bread (where's the garlic guys) or my Stromboli. I would recommend you stick with the pizza. I wish they offered a calzone. Thursday nights are half price pizza nights. They have interesting cocktails and some unusual pizza toppings. Stop in for a pie and you might be pleasantly surprised. read more

We stopped in for a bite to eat. Staff is friendly and helpful. Owner is a pleasure to visit with. Lovely view of the river or canal both inside and on patio or deck. Live music while we were there. Now to the food- we had the the canal it was wonderful and a good value. We will find reasons to travel through this lovely little town with this hidden Gem. I went to 950 for drinks with my family twice over the holiday break. The first time I went we sat inside and also tried their charcuterie board. The second visit we sat outside by the fire pit with our dogs. The location is right on the river. You can access one of the beginning parts of the river trail here. It is really cute inside. The bartenders made great cocktails and were extremely accommodating for our group each visit. read more

Went with some friends for lunch. We all tried something a different. One got a pizza. It looked really good. Another got the ham and cheese sandwich and said it was good and I could see it steaming hot. I got a Stromboli but was surprised to have it served on the same bread that my friend's ham sandwich was made on. It was all the normal ingredients of a Stromboli just served differently. It was not very hot when it was served. The last one in our group got a bratwurst in blanket. He thought it was pretty good and served steaming hot. Our server was polite and prompt in taking care of us. It was warm so we sat inside but they do have nice seating outside. Parking was easy right in front of location. I would rename this restaurant as a well decorated, authentic, & cozy pizza shop (with a decent bar). The pizza was a crispy thin crust that was quite good. Their cocktail menu is lame and focuses entirely on citrusy/sweet drinks with annoying combinations of liquor. The cocktail I got (hanging rock) was a bourbon/elderflower drink that was extremely tart. Decent draft menu though! I would come back because the pizza and atmosphere. read more

Came in on a Friday night and really enjoyed the atmosphere- strong drinks, great selection of beer on tap and Karaoke!

Coming from a larger city when I hear Speakeasy, certain things come to mind. I would label this place more of a pizzeria type place so if you are passing through- it's not a speakeasy speakeasy- with having said that, I did enjoy the atmosphere and service was excellent. The food wasn't anything out of the ordinary, just basic pizzeria style food- so you will enjoy. Give this place a chance if a quick pit stop of you are ever in the area. Will I go back, sure, there are more things on the menu I would be interested in trying. read more

Great atmosphere and location. Food is really good. Nice selection of rotating draft beers. Based on 2 visits - 0/2 for service! First visit was for lunch and ordered a personal size pizza - received the wrong pizza. Second visit months later was for supper and we sat outside downstairs. We were never greeted so I went inside and asked the bartender for menus. Still no service so I had to go back inside to place my order. Bartender mentioned she and 1 other person were the only two working the downstairs portion or the restaurant. (Not sure about anyone else but the short staffed excuse gets old!) Got our drinks and appetizers fine. Pizza came had to wait again for side plates. Ordered water, it never came. Asked again for the water, check and two boxes. Received the water and check. Had to ask again for the boxes we clearly needed as half of the pizza was not eaten. Frustrating experience overall. Really like this place but I sure hope the service improves. read more

We were so excited to visit this place. What an absolute let down. We walked in and the staff was already giving a very bad vibe. We asked if we could enjoy the outside seating and she refused to let us sit downstairs and said we could only sit in upstairs patio. We waited 20 minutes with still no one talking to us. We went back in to ask for menus, we waited another 20 minutes and no one still came outside. We left. 40 minutes and not a sorry, we are short staffed, nothing. Didn't give a damn, they saw us walk out and honestly they looked pleased. Don't give them your business. read more

I have dined here many times. The upstairs dining area is family friendly, with the option of outdoor seating overlooking the River with a beautiful view. The menu includes hoagie/sub style sandwiches, salads, charcuterie board, and pizzas. My favorite pizza is the cauliflower crust pizza-all of my friends commented on how delicious it is. There is a very nice selection of unique cocktails. The downstairs bar is beautiful with many large windows, an outdoor fire pit, and ample space for gathering and activities. I definitely recommend this destination for a nice meal and/or time out with friends. read more

This was the second time dining at the Speakeasy. I gave 4 stars based on the two visits combined. First visit was a nice smooth lunch. This review will be about the second dinner visit. We decided to sit at the downstairs bar. We were promptly met by a bartender who offered menus and took our drink order. They have a nice selection of "signature" Gin cocktails and are not skimpy on the pour. We overheard the waitress talking about being short staffed at this point (uhoh). We decided to order two pizzas. This is where the experience turned more negative. We waited over 55 minutes for our two small pizzas, normally I wouldnt sweat it but when the upstairs waitress came down to ask if anyone was waiting on said pizzas I knew. They then arrived and were to be generous "luke warm." The pizzas still tasted ok. I was never approached about a second drink so decided it was time to cut losses on the evening and leave. We received the bill with an extra pizza added...got that solved and left. I think with correct staffing this place is a nice spot in an area with not alot to offer read more

This place has so much potential. Great setting on the River with outdoor seating- except no service outside, you have to get your own drinks and food. This was in a Saturday night when they had live music. They put the performers inside with limited seating so if you're outside you can't hear the music. We had a pizza and it was not good. The crust seemed premade and undercooked. Two inches of crust without toppings or cheese, just not good. If pizza is all you offer, it should be great. Server staff seamed to be upset, lots of drama. The drinks and beer were good. May try again sometime, probably won't go for dinner. read more

This is my second review of this Bistro. The first did not give a glowing report and this one will not either. My wife returned for lunch today with a group of former co-workers. She brought part of her pizza home for me to see. Why she didn't send it back is beyond me. The crust was thin and very doughy and fairly tasteless. Had I been with her I would have insisted she send it back. It seems that other people like this place so I don't know if it's just been our luck to have slow service and bad food, or if others are just not particular about service and quality of food. At any rate we are scratching this place off of our list of places to go. Good luck if you do go. I'll be anxious to see other reviews. read more
