Best radio station ever. Great blend of music and features.The morning guy is god-like.

KVYN 99.3 FM is a fairly good radio station- they have more variety than the usual pop or hip-hop station, they don't have Marshmello/Anne-Marie's "Friends" or the Zedd/Maren Morris "The Middle" in endless rotation. They'll have jazz, new jack swing, country, local music (especially on Monday nights), along with local news. The local music is a refreshing change- because iHeart Radio (the renamed Clear Channel) doesn't do that kind of thing. Guerneville&Ukiah have VERY local public stations (like the River), so The Vine follows the rural trend. They can get annoyingly repetitive- especially with the Mary's Pizza Shack, Mercedes Benz of Fairfield as well as the St. Helena A&W ads. There are lots of local businesses. The "Good Morning Bob!" show varies in quality, as do the afternoon talk shows. Needs improvement. Occasionally I will stay tuned in if the program is relevant to the Napa Valley food & wine culture. More energetic host's would help. Turned off recently by a host who was obnoxiously throwing our wine culture community under the bus! Besides being a great little station that is perfect for getting the word out if you are local and providing a service locally, it's never boring to listen to! We keep it on this station at work all the time because the music is upbeat and it keeps us in tune with what is going on around us in Napa Valley. Be sure to check them out if you have a local business or want to inform Napans of something. We initially approached the possibility of airing our company cautiously, but found Larry Sharp very friendly, experienced and knowledgeable. He is also very pro-Napa business, even initiating a free marketing workshop that we (and I'm sure the other attendees) found invaluable. read more

I get The Vine out here in Richmond and I love it! Great range with oldies but goodies to newer popular tunes. I've never heard them replay a song till you were so sick of it you never want to hear it again. They keep it mixed up but familiar. read more
