They seem to enjoy talking down to pretty much anyone that identifies as being conservative or Republican. When Elon Musk was on the Left, they celebrated him, now they hate him... go figure. The program is very predictable as to which direction Leo and the panels' opinion will be and all the guests almost always agree politically with Leo, so it's like listening to an echo chamber. Would be nice to see some diversity on the show, but anyone who disagrees with Leo seems to no longer be invited back on the show.

We got there on a day they are usually closed, so I was just happy to see the place and take a photo of the outside signage. Luckily for us, Dane was inside. He said they don't usually take visitors when Leo isn't in. Also, he was actually busy working at that moment, but he noticed us outside and was nice enough to invite us in for a few minutes. I told him we had a dog with us and he was completely fine with that too. He took me through a mini-tour of the studio. He even had me sit on Leo's exercise ball (where he runs his shows). On our way out, he gave us a little TWiT key chain and laptop sticker. He said all visitors get a little souvenir for stopping by. How can you not love that hospitality?

They mislead readers with their police log columns seemingly about Sonoma Police incidents and news for and about Sonoma denizens. Actually, the entertainment-only stories are false, inaccurate, and designed so you would not even question their legitimacy. The IT is protected from lawsuits arising from libel challenges, and only those public record logs. What you are are actually reading isn't the log and isn't protected by the first amendment. It uses words from the log and then added new material which makes no reference of source or named testimony and aimed at indicating guilt. This is done in the dark, in secret, using handed-down policy which favors one group over another. All facts and kept away from their subscribers and readers . The resulting log, without the byline of the IT staff writer, sources, and any disclaimer of the presumption of innocence. If you, or any person you know, who is private person and was named by the IT in any police blotter or log or police log, the paper is unique vulnerable and could be wholly responsible to you if you have been damaged. The publisher admitted in court that the paper has always interviewed unnamed people for the log and used other sources for those stories. Without the normal use of industry standard of giving the subject their right to deny and explain, Plaintiffs are eligible for special damages, which can be award more than double your claim of damages. In small claims you can sue for up to $10,000, and you are given a better chance at winning than loosing as the Plaintiff (person suing). $50 filing fee, but ask to have that fee waived. That is also your right.

Mr. Martin starts with new students as young as 3rd grade and inspires them to become the best musicians they can be. As a small school, all are welcome, and as soon as each musician progresses to the appropriate level they can join the VCS Radio Symphony which is an EXTRAORDINARY program where students play incredibly challenging music and even get to perform live scores to silent films. When they progress to Jazz, they expand there skills to composing, improvising, and creating their own styles. With Mr. Martin's mentorship, the kids learn not only music, but creativity, confidence, resilience, character and leadership! The Conservatory also integrates the radio and drama students with synergistic results that are well beyond what could be expected from such a small school. His programs have won numerous awards to include: John Drury Award High School Radio Awards, Downbeat Magazine's Student Music Award, and yearly Reno Jazz Festival Awards. My two children love working with Mr Martin and have flourished under his guidance.

As soon as I got to the door, I saw the note that says they are not open to the public. Well, I knew that already... Just before I turned around to leave, someone came to the door & opened it. I did not ring the buzzer, I swear. Janine was uber gracious & warm. She didn't seem the least bit annoyed that I wasn't a rep, or here on official business. We (my boyfriend walked me to the door) explained that we were in the area (totally true), & that I just wanted to see what goes on here. Janine explained that WS is headquartered in New York, & that they moved in here in 2006, after the mansion renovations were completed in 2005. She then went on to explain the various regions/wineries that this office reviews; most of which I don't remember because there are too many to list, & quite frankly I was kind of amazed that she was still talking to me in the first place. THEN she asked us if we had seen the most recent issue...& gave us one to take home, along w the new issue that had yet to be released. The cherry on top? She put them inside of a WS tote bag. Lastly, she actually apologized that she couldn't let us in & give us a tour. When we should have been the ones apologizing to her for taking up her time.
