Yesterday I went to buy some groceries for my family, and while I was paying I put an extra 100.00 dollars unconsciously, the total was 34.60. As soon as I got to my car, I counted my money and the 100 wasn't there. I went back to the store and told the person that by mistakes I gave him extra Money, so I need him to count and confirm that was true. I called the supervisor and she said would called me once the finished their shift. I was waiting until 10:00 and nobody called me,I used to go there more than 3 times a week. I could not be happier with the customer service I received from Blanca Hernandez. I visited this store for the first time and bought a few coffee cups that I fell absolutely in love with. At the time they only had 3. A week later I went back hoping to find more but had no luck. That's when I asked Ms. Hernandez about their shipment. She was very pleasant and took the time to see if they had anymore in stock. Unfortunately they did not. She then informed me that she would order them and to come back on Saturday. Well, I went back on Saturday but they were still unloading their shipment. She asked that I come back on Sunday. I agreed. I walked around store for a while and was about to purchase my items when Ms. Hernandez quickly approached me to let me know the cups were there! I think she was just as excited as I was! She opened the boxes and smiled while I anxiously picked out the cups that I wanted. I can't say thank you enough for going out of her way to find me and helping me to get the cups that I really wanted. **"beware of your ebt & cash spent in camp wisdom location in duncanville & maybe "all"99 cent stores"** i went here & had a whopping $16 cash over charge!! i used my ebt card for food items only totalling $30 (food) & $41cash items, which i had brought to their attention after getting home & recalculating my items! my total was$72& some odd change, i paid for food items first@$30...then my cash items @$41 to only find out i was over charged cash items totalling @$25.73. i take everything back & explained i was highly over charged & they clearly see that after re-ringing the items now it's$46(food), but tells me they can't tell me what food items "their register rung up for cash instead of ebt(food)& did not refund me my$16& told me they could put it on a store credit & no refund cause they cant refund my cash!!! really!????..i don't want a refund, exchange or any of the sort, i simply want my cash i was over charged!!.. then the"manager" for this day,don called ms.v,& it was explained the her as well. they both see exactly wat im saying about my cash but cannot refund my$??? so now i have$25.73 worth of cash items, that i've paid $41 for???... then she tells him have me to come back tomorrow!?... wth!! after they both see& know that i had actually$46 in food items &$25.73 in cash items where's my freaking$16!?.. that simple, & i "do" have my receipt... sent me home to come back for my $16 they stole which their machine not "recognizing food"as they claimed charged to my cash items!...the ebt & government should know this asap!!! everything was food except the$25.73 on household items. do the math...$72 total...$30(food)...&$25.73(house items)...$55.73 so why was i charged$72 all in all period.‍$55.73+16=&72 plus my odd change!! now i have to burn my premium gasoline to go back for a third time tomorrow! whom ever in charge here please assist this matter rapido! they wouldn't give me a cool $16, why should i give them mines,or accept store credit, i've not returned r ask for a refund on. i purchased my items & want my $16"cash" im overcharged for, for in their negligence! i'm a single parent on a very thin budget here in this pandemic!‍ think of "everyone" that they are doing this to!! even seniors tryna make it!! they may be nickle slick, but i have their penny change! imma need them to run me my cointage like tomorrow! i will alert everyone!!..ceo?!?? it seems to me they are in need of an"upgraded system!!! 1/25/2021: resolution from yesterday,ms v that works here told me come back today, i go back she still didn't refund my $16 after recalculating& saw again it their registers she can't explain, but i can count well!.. time be call customer service after she said come back today so i go back after all this, she's pissed cause i was telling customers to beware of the cash charge for food items on ebt, which is against the law!! so she called police & lied said i was causing a disturbance, which i didn't@all...i left their store quietly& told customers to beware that was exiting! one of hey employees intervened &i politely told her this was not her issue, attend to the lady that's waiting to check out, rolled her eyes & replied sarcasticly...i turned to continue with ms.v...the police told her it was a civil matter she's leaving. upon the police departing, now 99 store wanna say i was disturbing their store...i left so how? lol im a disturbance cause i'm telling customers truth. she put trespassing on me i can't go back & whom would want to,you guys had taken"my" $16 bucks!!!.lol.. so now i have to wait on customers service today late evening to resolve this& give my$16 cash back. duncanville police left cause she told 99 store there was nothing "criminal"for them & she left!! told me have a day! that's why they said they don't want me back in their store cause the officer clearly saw she was not needed & they are scammers! she done her job, thanks!! do not buy food here with ebt card, you will be charged cash& they wont tell you why.. they perfectly know why it's they're store. only call customer service. again this is against the ebt period!! besides...they "are not" bbb accredited here. that's sad also. read more
