There are so many items sold here such as furniture, books, clothing, food items, office, home goods, diapers and so much more. All items are new and in boxes but the stock does appear to come from liquidation sales. A store employee advised me that new stock comes in every Wednesday so some merchandise does change weekly. Employees do their best to keep everything organized and the store does appear to be well maintained. The store was well stocked and the prices were very reasonable on most items though a few very few select items appeared to be closer to full retail rather than discounted prices. I walked out of here with $35.00 worth of merchandise and left feeling with no buyer's remorse whatsoever. Tip: ALL sales are final. No returns so buyer beware

I did a research on the actual item that was posted on OfferUp by them. I drove about 40 mins to get to this shop. When I got there a different brand was given to me, so I wasted my time, researching a brand that they didn't have. The item was nothing like the picture and it was not new. There's a seal on the box and the seal was broken so it was definitely not "new" as stated on OfferUp. When I ask the guy in the front if he has the item on OfferUp and on their IG page, he in was like "how old is the post?"It doesn't matter because you should remove it if it's sold. Post says there were 6 available and they didn't even have 1. He was trying to sell an item that is not even the same and it's opened box but kept arguing saying it's new. I'm telling him it's not and there's also a seal that's broken. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take a picture of the actual item I saw in the store because I didn't think it was going to escalate this far, but I took a similar picture of how the seal kinda looks like. One of the cords was used and not in the original wrapper. He noticed it was opened and proceed to taped the box. Even my friend laughed because the guy kept saying, "it's new because I tested it!"Then it's not new! It should've said "opened box but new" on OfferUp. I wasn't even returning anything, so how am I a scammer? I mean, make it make sense. The fact that he actually went out to my car shows that he is guilty in what he's doing. I should've checked Yelp before I went there but I was in a hurry, but as you can see there are many bad reviews. I think he even wrote a 5 star review for himself trying to act like a customer because the picture in that profile looks like him. Honestly, save your time and your money, even if it's cheap, to go somewhere else or buy it elsewhere, unless you want to buy used or fake items. If you are a fan of the Huntington Collection in Pasadena, you'll be sure to love the Bargain Box. Just like the Huntington Collection, I can't call it a thrift shop since it's not like any thrift shops I've been to! Looks more like an expensive antique shop when you step inside. I was blown away by the quality of the available merchandise, especially the housewares and decor. It's very evident that all of the pieces on sale were meticulously cleaned and staged by the hardworking staff. All of the furniture and housewares are excellent condition, not to mention very well priced. Make a point to visit before Halloween! The store is all decked out with Halloween decor! The Bargain Box is managed by the Assistance League of Arcadia, and one of their worthy endeavors is Operation School Bell, which provides much needed clothing as well as school supplies such as backpacks and books to children in need in neighboring local schools. There's a small parking lot but there should be plenty of street parking available if needed. Also, be aware that the store has limited hours since it's managed by volunteers. It's only open two days a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 10am to 1pm.

I didn't pick up a $849 Breville espresso machine (barista pro) and I am still kicking myself for not grabbing it. I bought a bed frame sold on Amazon for $149 at $12 and some vacuums that retailed upwards of $279 from $12-$40 on a random Thursday/Friday. Most items appear to be returns from stores: Still new and in their original box.... Great stuff to be found. The staff is super helpful. The owners are always promoting it on Instagram (and give previews of what is to come: ie Target/Amazon stuff) The store itself can get PACKED, hot and stuffy: But, for the deals: It's a small inconvenience. I really think that the "deals" are AMAZING and I have left "lucky" each time. Totally unorganized, still have the rude lady on the speaker telling you she will kick you out if you open boxes (she was never friendly and she was one of the reason I avoided this place for a while), music is too loud, and it's so cluttered it's overwhelming to shop. Was not like that before. Even the testing area is a mess. Other bin stores in the area are better.
