He took my foot measurement and he even checked my gait to determine the right type of shoe. The guys here are knowledgeable and I think they actually know what they're talking about. The guy I was working told me they actually have a podiatrist that comes and trains them on what to look for. They actually take the time to make sure you get the right shoe...they care about your budget and this place is great for anyone who really needs the right shoe whether it's for running or training. you go to a finish line, they don't give off the impression they are knowledgeable. They tell me to spend more money because more money means more comfort. Yes, an appointment is requested to allow for the individualized care and service you will need. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. We would never walk into a doctor's office, and expect to be seen, without an appointment; it is the same principle. I might add, it is the same care and concern given. Also, the owners have an incredible amount of stock and hard to fit sizes. If they do not have your size/width, they will order it straight to your home. They do have a return policy. This is not your self-serve factory we have become accustomed to, but it just might be that personalized service we remember as a child. And yes, Jacuzzis was in business way back then, and even before that I encourage you to visit their establishment - with an appointment - especially if your feet hurt or you want to keep them from hurting. So after I went to almost every shoe store and tried on shoes and sneakers my husband said, let's go to New Balance store. I said "OK"! I told the lady I want to warn you it's been difficult for me to get a good pair of sneakers, I need understanding and patience. She measured my foot and we tried two pairs that she felt I would like. After we went next door to Lucky Brand and we bought a pair of closed toe sandals. I bought the two pairs. I walked around in the sandals and it was not for me, my feet hurt. I wore the sneakers and it was great. So I went back and she accepted the sandals back. Now that's customer service. I found my new sneaker store! The employees are the best. They understand that people can have sensitive feet and not every shoe would be for everyone, but for everyone there is a shoe or brand out there for them.
