The trainers track your progress and gradually increase the difficulty of your workouts so you never plateau. The group classes are fun too. They're usually only 3-4 people so you get lots of personal attention. I highly recommend kickboxing, PiYo and the Strength Circuit. The instructor did a great job motivating and giving proper instruction on correct form and what muscle groups we were working. The class was very diverse, some were beginners and others who work out on a regular basis. Modifications were mentioned if you'd like to increase the intensity or how to " go easy" if you had an injury or aliment. For being a smaller gym they have a lot to offer! I joined for the month which includes open gym, and unlimited classes ( not a ton of equipment, but everything you need for sure)! It's the best gym in the area, trust me, I checked them all out!

By the time I got there, my family had mostly set up the area, but there were several picnic tables and lots of space for our own lawn chairs as well as setting up some lawn games to play. The park is generously sized and has several large parking lots. There are playgrounds and, the main draw for many, is the beach area. Swimming was free and the sandy area was kept fairly tidy. There were lifeguards on duty, both on shore and at the raft with the slide and diving boards. You must be able to swim out there on your own and demonstrate a basic ability to stay afloat, in order to dive and whatnot. The water is a Wisconsin lake, so expect some algae and seaweed and even some fish. It is nature. Don't expect pristine-ness. I don't know when or if I will ever be back, but this is a nice park with a lot to offer .

Any who, we checked out Flashback after speaking to one of the owners, Jina. We gave it a week's trial, and really love the fun way coach Jesse and Jina (husband & wife) teach the classes. They are playful and very nice, but firm and expect respect from the kids. It was perfect for my son. There is plenty of 1-1 training too, and great examples, in addition to daily sparing where the kids get to put what they learned to the test. Though we were not able to continue to go due to personal reasons, which was quite unfortunate, I would go back in a heartbeat if possible. My wife and son loved it otherwise. If you have a child (or yourself as an adult) wants to learn self-defense and a martial art's system that will be superior to Taekwondo and other forms of karate, then check this place out!
