Moving is a very stressful and busy time so when you pay for a cleaning service and ask multiple times if it's a full service, deep clean - you expect everything to be done well. I work remotely for a company that had an 11k square foot building that required several cleanings in the final weeks as interior renovations were finishing. I also needed a company that was willing to assist unpacking boxes and helping with "house" set-up, putting items away in rooms, cabinets, drawers. In addition, we needed wash/dry/fold of a large quantity of new bed sheets, bath towels and making up of the beds. Lenora and Herschell were both so wonderful to work with - very personable, professional, punctual and flexible. Since her mother passed, I took this as a great opportunity to treat her. Everyone that has worked at D&B was very kind & responsive. They seemed to know their stuff and I didn't have many concerns going into it. However, after telling them the space is maybe not even 1200 SF and not all rooms need to be completed and cabinets do not need to be cleaned - it didn't matter. They still brought 5 people to my mothers home. Who were all making 35 an HOUR. With 5 people, I figured 2 hours of working would suffice. I then received a call at 10:30 (start time was 8am) asking for another hour of time. So my nice gift to my mother has turned into a $700+ investment. To say I regret this is putting it lightly. The representative on the phone made it seem like $300 was the "estimate", but instead, is was the "initial" deep cleaning investment - but ONLY if you sign up for recurring cleanings. If you are okay to spend $1000+ on your house being cleaned, go for it. But unfortunately, I wont be able to recommend D&B to any of my friends or family who are actually on a budget.
