The representatives are super professional and make sure you get exactly what you're looking for, while the store's layout makes it easy to see everything quickly at a glance. It's fairly easy to find whatever you're in store for, and they have a couple of representatives stationed throughout the store to offer assistance. My most recent visit was for a few of their Fiesta medals. I'd never purchased any from them before but they were just as pretty as the trophies I'd previously picked up. In addition to the medal I'd chosen from their display area, I was lucky enough to grab one of their mystery grab bags which contained 10 medals from previous years before another customer came in less than five minutes after me and bought everything else on the table. While that kind of scalper behavior has always disgusted me, I'm honestly surprised Monarch didn't have a limit per customer on the bags. If they hadn't advertised they'd done a 'restock by popular demand' I would have thought that they just really wanted to get rid of those older medals, but I'm sure there were people who missed out because of that guy's greed. Maybe implement that limit next year, Monarch? I won't be surprised if I return for trophies, Fiesta medals, and possibly more products in the future. They're worth looking into for customizations, awards, graduation needs, and more!

I wanted my hubby's business logo on one side and his and his employee's names/initials on the other (I bought the Yeti's myself and brought them in to be etched). I am super happy with the end product and everyone I have corresponded with here has been very nice. My beef is the poor communication. I"m guessing this is a new and upcoming business? And I understand they were very busy around the holidays, but I would estimate 8 times out of ten that I called them I got a voicemail, left a message and did not get a prompt reply.This place is located in Dripping Springs, so, not so easy just to drive out there to talk to someone. Also, not easy to drive all the way out there to see if your product is ready on Dec 23rd when they won't respond to your messages and confirm that it is indeed done and ready. They didn't inspire a lot of confidence again with the email system. After several attempts at sending them the proper size of biz logo for the etching (it took the 3rd attempt for them to be specific with the file size needed), they sent me a proof that I immediately ok'ed and they responded with a "great, we'll get your order started!". Almost TWO WEEKS later I get an email asking if I'd looked at the proof they'd sent and could I OK it? Uh.....and this on the day they estimated my Yeti's to be done, not just getting started. After having the most wonderful customer service experience, I felt compelled to pass on and tell you how great this small business really is. After reading a few reviews on a different forum, I decided to make the 118 mile drive from my house to Gray Laser Engraving. Granted, it was off the beaten path a little bit, but it was very easy to find with the aid of modern technology (GPS). Upon arrival, I was greeted by Bill in the driveway and taken to the workshop area where I was made welcome to sit down and relax. As Bill set up my rifle receiver for engraving, we engaged in great conversation and learned that we both shared a similar hobby in motorcycle riding. Then, on came the laser!!! If you have never seen this process before.....WOW!!! Totally impressive!!! While peering through a pair of protective glasses provided by Bill, I witnessed one of the coolest things I had ever seen. It is jaw dropping and amazing to see how light can cut through metal with such precision and accuracy. The whole process took about 30 minutes and the finished product was exactly what I was expecting. Gray Laser offers service via mail, drop off or "while you wait" but make sure you have an appointment for the latter. Other reviews said that he provides a very quick turnaround (2-3 days) compared to other businesses who have a 2-3 week wait. The cool part about my experience with Bill Gray was that he invited me into his workshop and allowed me to be a part of the whole process. I am extremely pleased with the customer service that Bill & Kathy Gray provided to me, and they come highly recommended. They were well worth the 236 mile round-trip from Austin to San Antonio.
