Ordered a shadow box online for a family member who retired from the army after 21 years. Attached to the shAdow box, we requested a plaque, they forgot to attach. But thankfully noticed and called to see if we still wanted it. Yes we did. When opening the package, it was noted the box is chipped. It appears it was chipped prior to being put in the box and shipped as there was not any loose pieces in the box. We discussed fixing it ourself as we needed it by a certain date but could only match the color not as easy to fix the chip on the shadow box. I sent an email notifying the company about the damaged product. And got a response on December 23 stating. That's terrible. I apologize. I can't imagine us shipping anything that was not 100%. I will speak to the owner and get back to you. As of today we have not gotten a response back. It may not seem like a big deal but with shipping we paid over 300.00. This is in honor of a man who spent over 21 years in the army and box that will be looked at on a daily basis. read more

I am a Marine Corps veteran and was excited to get my medals mounted at Texas Trophies. We provided all of the patches, ribbons and mounted metals needed; one medal needed to be added the set previously mounted (which they said they could do). They worked with us on the layout and we were happy to see what the final result would be. Upon receipt of the mock up photo we noticed that the one medal they had to mount was done with FAR less precision then the others we provided. When we called to get this corrected we were treated rudely by Laura who kept talking over my wife and was extremely unprofessional and condescending. We decided at that point we would be taking our business elsewhere. When I went into talk to the manager, Laura stayed at his side and made sure that I knew that she was his daughter; the only reason a person like Laura has a job, with such a lack of customer service skills, is to work for Daddy. He was friendly but not apologetic. Unfortunately they will stay in business because of pure volume being close to the Air Force base but it is a shame that a company that does so much business with the military treats veterans so poorly. There are other options out there that will respect your military memorabilia and provide you with a product equal to the precision and standards you would want to reflect your military career. Shame on Texas Trophies for disrespecting veterans and their families and being satisfied with sub-par quality. read more

Pros: very friendly, convenient to Lackland AFB, they were able to make an Air Force Name tag while I waited (30 minutes). They have a lot of trophy and award plaques on display. Cons: the area can feel a little sketchy but it's pretty safe. It's just in an older section of town. read more

Dropped off a simple engraving job, was not accomplished and didn't receive notification they would not be able to meet my deadline for the job (so maybe I could've found someone else to do the job), thus I'll be unable to present to the intended individual. Working with ownership is great. If unable to do that, customer service is not helpful. I attempted 2 inquiries for a recurring order - one online with no response, and the other over the phone with little help and an indifference towards my business. I was hoping for some direction, and options, but was told they couldn't send me anything, that I'd need to go into the store to decide. The only locations are not close, and there is an online presence, so I'm not sure why products would not be available somehow. I have been happy with the product and turnaround in the past, but the service was disappointing. It doesn't seem like they want to go the extra step, or collaborate with customers, rather just take orders. read more

My bf and his team came here to make a plaque for their cross trained tech school graduation. They came close to closing on a Friday and Tanya stayed late to help them make the plaque perfect. We came to pick it up less than a week later and the craftsmanship was perfect. They also added the class photo for them and made it perfectly centered.
