Horrible business practice. I paid $180 - in advance - to have rush screen printing put on 5 running shirts in 5 day (needed by Saturday for race Sunday). Long story short, I'm told on Friday at 5:00pm the "shirts never came" and they can't print them. I rush to buy some shirts (another $100) and they print them. I go to pick them up Saturday and there is no offer for any refund, apology or anything. "Bud" mentions nothing and acts as if there was no sort of inconvenience or problem that occurred. I ask if there is going to be a refund and I proceed to get excuses about how someone at the warehouse dropped the ball and how he came out of pocket for the shirts already. Who is out of pocket? I already paid for those shirts AND the ones I had to buy. After trying to discuss and understand this awful business mindset and practice, I'm given a $25 refund. Shame on them. One, for not apologizing OR initially offering to compensate for their mistake. Two, for not owning up to the fact that they failed on their part. Three, for either lying about the shirt price of $5 or horrendously overcharging/stealing for set up fee ($155??). I won't let this upset me further and I hope others avoid this place and potential disaster. read more

I feel completely ripped off! I ordered shirts from their website to be embroidered. The prices were listed on the site. When I went to pick up the shirts, there was an extra charge for bigger sizes, I get it, but it should have been listed. I was then charged $15 shipping for 3 shirts, but I was picking them up???? When I asked why I was being charged shipping when I am picking up the shirts, I was told I was paying for the shirts to be shipped to Bud's??? I have worked with other embroidering companies, I have never paid for shirts to be delivered to them. Usually they put in a big order and get free shipping from their suppliers. Considering how long I had to wait for the shirts, I doubt those were the only 3 shirts they had ordered. The shirts were nice and the embroidery looked great, but what a ripoff! All nice nice and yes I'll have your order to you as soon as possible and then as soon as he had my check in his hands I heard "when is the absolute latest I can get this order to you." Right then I knew I was screwed. After that 3 more delays and that's when I canceled the order. Six weeks later I'm still trying to get my money back.I paid in advance which was stupid but I was a new customer with the assurance that my order would be ready in a few days. read more

I needed a baby blanket personalized in 3 days. I called several companies but no one could do it except Bud's and they delivered it earlier then expected. The blanket is exactly what I wanted. They mean well here but they don't exactly keep their word. I dropped off some shirts to get embroidered on a Thursday and I asked the guy when they would be ready. He said "oh they will be ready tomorrow", I told him "I won't be able to come pick them up tomorrow but I'll come by on Saturday". So Saturday rolls around, I go by at 11am when they open and the shirts weren't ready. He tried to get me to come back on Monday but I told them I needed them for Monday so he had the shirts ready for me at 2pm on Saturday. The embroidery quality was very good when I picked up the shirts, I was just a little upset that they weren't ready the day after he said they would be ready. Also, just to let you know they have two locations. One is a screen printing place and the other is embroidery. I took my shirts to the screen printing one thinking they did both and he said I should have taken them to the other location. How am I supposed to know that they don't do embroidery there when the sign outside says "embroidery" on it? read more

He made an error and ruined a brand new shirt and only apologized rudely and would not refund the money for the careless work or shirt. If you decide to use this business know that any errors made will not be made right and you, THE CUSTOMER, will be disposed of.....buyer beware! Don't expect any return phone calls. I sent in a design for some jackets to be embroidered and when I went to pick them up, they forgot my instructions even though it was written on my invoice. They couldn't go back and fix it because the words were too close together, and I didn't even get a refund or discount on my ruined jackets. It really shows how lazy they can be. I am a college student and current member of the USAF. I needed embroidery done on a chefs coat for a class. Buds got my coat done quickly and the work was good. Unfortunately while it was at the McCullough location, my sleeve received 2 large lacerations in the sleeve consistent with being snagged by a sewing machine or being cut by other means. When I went to the location Bud refused to accept responsibility but offered to do free embroidery on a new coat if I bought it. When I explained that I simply wanted a refund of $33.00 (the price of a new coat and the embroidery) he became unprofessional and raised his voice to me instantly. He accused me of lying and trying to "screw" him. He accused me of lying as he was lying to prove his case. He said he reviewed his security camera and saw nothing. The problem is that I had just informed him of the issue and there is no way he reviewed the tape on an complaint he had no knowledge of until that moment. I to keep this short and sweet, it was a very weird and awkward meeting. Even one of his employees apologized as I left. The sewing was good, but my 1 rating is due to the overall rudeness I encountered, the inability of Buds Embroidery to take responsibility for their mistake, and the very idea that Bud was raising his voice as I remained cordial and polite. Lets put it this way, my experience with Buds was so bad that I was compelled to write this, it is the first online review I have ever done! I would go elsewhere! read more

I got myself into a tight spot and needed 50 hand towels embroidered at the last minute. I had found Bud's embroidery online and called them. The gentleman that owned the store offered to stay open late so that I could drop off the towels and do a rush order. I dropped them off at 7 on Wednesday and he had them done by 3 on Thursday. The quality was amazing and the staff was very nice. The owner went above and beyond to help me and I would recommend them to anyone. read more

This place does not deserve 1 star but because I had to give it something I did. If you want to get ripped off then go to Bud's Embroidery. I shirts for embroidery and I was quoted 1 price by the owner. When I picked up my shirts I was told I owed much more than the original price and the new price was also quoted by the owner. Terrible experience and I will never go back! When I was there to drop off and to pick up my order the owner was screaming at his female employees. Made me very uncomfortable. read more
