I'm used to Mercedes, Lexus and Nordstrom customer service..... Van/Christine, We are disappointed that this matter has reached this point, and we strongly disagree with your characterization of the transaction. Despite your characterization of the events on Yelp, Cart Mart did not engage in a "bait and switch." We did not attempt to mislead you, nor did we attempt to provide you with a vehicle of unknown origin. Your order was processed through Cart Mart's normal sales process using our standard documentation, deposit terms, and vehicle preparation procedures. Initially, we anticipated ordering a vehicle specifically for you. However, when an identical unit became available in our inventory, we allocated that unit in an effort to expedite your delivery and began preparing it in good faith in reliance on your purchase commitment. Our intent was simply to get you into your vehicle sooner, something most customers appreciate, particularly during our busiest season. Importantly, this was not presented to you without your knowledge or consent. As reflected in Christine's text message dated June 16, you acknowledged that we had already agreed to proceed with the in-stock vehicle, stating there had been "zero communication from Cart Mart since the last time we spoke and agreed to the other person's cancelled order." That contemporaneous message confirms there was a mutual understanding regarding the substituted inventory and directly contradicts the later claim that Cart Mart attempted to switch vehicles without disclosure. We also explained that it is standard practice throughout the industry for authorized dealers to receive vehicles from the manufacturer and complete final assembly, inspection, accessory installation, and configuration at the dealership. Exchanging standard components such as seats, wheels, or tires during the preparation process does not make a vehicle improper, used, recycled, or a "Frankenstein" vehicle. As we stated previously, the sales documents clearly identify the down payment as non-refundable. Based on that agreement, together with the work already performed in preparing your vehicle, Cart Mart does not agree that a refund is contractually required. That said, Cart Mart had been reviewing whether a discretionary accommodation could be offered in an effort to resolve this matter amicably. Unfortunately, your recent public statements include serious and inaccurate accusations regarding Cart Mart, our employees, and our business practices. Those statements make it considerably more difficult to resolve this matter informally without protecting Cart Mart's interests. If your goal is to resolve this constructively, we remain willing to discuss a written resolution that addresses the deposit issue and provides finality for both parties. We are also continuing to seek support from the manufacturer and remain hopeful they will assist in bringing this matter to a mutually acceptable resolution. (I've only had the Electric EZ Go 25 golf cart in the past and that one we had about 14 years, kept indoors and it was in pretty good condition but it was time to try something new.). Evolution golf carts look and feel pretty luxurious. Worth noting to get yourself the upgrades if you can- really nice upgrades elevated the golf cart (ie extended battery range, phone charging pads; cup holders; ice chest that locks securely in the back; forward-facing seats). Very competitive pricing and they've been easy to work with on our purchases. We had purchased our golf carts this past summer. They pick up and deliver each time (for new ownership delivery or service). Their driver is very kind and professional as well. We've had experience with the Evolution Maverick D5 and now the Evolution DMAX GT6 The delivery had a couple hiccups initially - just two occasions came to mind. (ie seatbelt parts missing; on the first delivery of a new golf cart; dusty and dirty after a month out for a warranty repair yet returned in just dust/dirty condition when we always keep it professionally detailed and cleaned for our use). Without any fuss, they picked the cart up both times and tended to the matter and returned it promptly. Despite the hiccups- they have been continuously receptive and patient with us. They've listened to our requests and each of our concerns. When we first had the golf cart picked up for warranty, they contacted us and kept us posted on the status. While we did have good communication during that month it was in service, there wasn't any specific information on what was done during the warranty repair. I don't recall any paperwork but if I missed seeing that, apologies. I can check out emails/ glove box again. Nonetheless, we addressed it, they again, were very patient and receptive. In the end, they addressed our warranty concerns thoroughly and listened to our issues at hand. We are really happy either way the recent purchase and are loving our beautiful new golf cart.     Our old golf cart was a 2007 Fairplay that had lived a very long and very dramatic life. The…read morebatteries somehow lasted twenty years, and we bought it from a friend five years ago, so we were already pushing our luck. I tried to keep it going with monthly water top offs, which it needed constantly, and even replaced the ignition switch when it finally refused to turn on. At a certain point it felt like I was holding the whole thing together with determination and duct tape. Eventually it gave up for good, and it was time to let it go. I first contacted Jereme in parts to see if it was even worth fixing. It turned out the company disappeared in 2012, so repairs were not going to be a smart investment. From there we talked to Jay, who helped us find a beautiful used and rebuilt cart that looks brand new and drives like it. The whole process was easy, honest, and surprisingly enjoyable. We are very pleased and thankful for Jay, Jereme, and everyone at Prestige Golf Cars for helping us get a great deal and hauling away our old cart. A shout out as well to the delivery driver, whose name I cannot remember, but he made the pickup and drop off genuinely fun. Prestige took what could have been a headache and turned it into a great experience, and we could not be happier with our new cart.
