I'm confused by some of the negative reviews because we had an amazing experience buying an epic golf cart yesterday from the Escondido golf cart center. They were fast efficient kind and helpful. They delivered the golf cart the next day earlier than expected. The only thing is our speaker sounds a little fuzzy but they already have someone scheduled to come out and fix it. I believe it's just a glitch from when they were putting the golf cart together. We first went to La Jolla and thought that would be the nice place to get a golf cart (it was a hole in the wall with only a couple golf carts in inventory) Escondido had a huge beautiful show room. 9/10 experience read more

I've been impressed with this place sense day one. First off they are always helpful for whatever you might need. The reconditioned Lifted Cart they sold me has been fantastic. There was a problem with the wrong speed controller so it wouldn't run after charging. I live over 60 miles from their shop and three times they drove all the way out to my place to repair my cart. I wish I would've read these reviews before using them. They've come out to work on my golf cart five times over the course of six months. I have been unable to fix the problem. In the meantime, it has cost me over $1300. I gave them an opportunity to come out and make it right before posting this review and let them know that I would be posting a review. They weren't concerned about that. Just wanted me to pay the final invoice. I'm paying the invoice because that's the way I do things. I'm also posting a review here, on Google, and filing with the Better Business Bureau. Considering litigation. Stay away. Very poor service. read more

Save yourself time and headache and stay away from this place. The people that work there are super nice, but their communication is non existent. They offer a pick up service which is nice, but you need to hound them to get any type of update or timeline. They had my cart for a week and told me that they were installing a backseat, which after many phone calls later, never happened and the seat which they said was in stock, suddenly was in back order. A week later, they agreed to send me the cart back. They told me it would be there in the am, so I had someone waiting, it didn't show up until 230pm and when it did, it had shipping damage. Just don't.... save yourself, this place has horrible communication between its own employees. They gave us an original invoice I put half down, then I called back to see how long till our car was done... well the lady over the phone told me there is another $600m dollar charge. I told her no one told me that and I already put money done she tried to send me an invoice with it on there but I had to send her the invoice I already receive months ago. After our cart was done, we didn't get back to them for 4 days called a family member offered them a discount without even telling me ON MY GOLF CART, made me pay full price then when I called back she told me that DEAL was not for me and it had nothing to do with me! HELLO that's my golf cart and that's my family member. You can not tell one person a price then sell it for another!!! really go some where else! read more

I called to see if they fix Gem cars, they said yes. I paid 115.00 for the guy with no experience fixing them. He was on phone with another guy trying to tell him things. Then he finally said batteries were not good. So I called Golf Mart. They came out and knew all about my car. Batteries were not The issue. The guy from Escondido golf couldn't even figure out that the dash lifted right up to check starter. Also my starter is under a recall. read more

What a great experience we had with Victor and everyone at Escondido Golf Car Center. From the moment we stepped on the property we were warmly greeted, treated more like guests than customers and provided with all the information we needed to make an informed decision about which vehicle best suited our needs. Victor showed us several options and patiently answered all of our questions. We shopped at other dealers and even online, but nowhere did we find a more helpful staff or better pricing. This place seemed legit but they still gave me the wrong part. I don't live anywhere near the area so took me a couple weeks to return. Although I didn't have invoice they still had my info and card info and charged me 20% restock fee even though they gave me wrong part. So basically they just took my money. read more

I bought my used 2006 California roadster NEV(neighborhood electric vehicle) from Victor in 2011. They have done the exclusive servicing on it since then. The things I appreciate most is that they know how to fix the issues the first time and do not overcharge like many others do. They have also done a great job of problem solving along the way. I just got into an accident which totaled my roadster and bought another one from a private party, because Victor didn't have one, which had a major rear end axle issue. They came up with a very low cost solution which is now what I expect from them. My kudos to the entire team of Victor's including the wonderful Misty who generally answers the phone and is always cheery and friendly. The guys in the shop are also friendly and very knowledgeable. LOVE THEM! they were so incredible helpful with working with them, I live in the Bay Park area and refer them to everyone that stops to ask me about my golf cart. It is street legal, runs great and by FAR cheaper than any other dealer. I completely recommend them, we are having so much fun with our new ride (well 6 months old). I sent my employee, Jessica, on a mission to find a replacement golf cart key for a property my company manages (5th Avenue Property Management). The business that originally sold the car, Zakarian Golf Cars, was out of business but instead of turning her away, Caesar at Escondido Golf Car Center went above and beyond to help her. He had her text a photo of the car to determine the make/model and had replacement keys ready for pickup that afternoon. Have dealt with Victor and his crew for several yrs. Bought one cart from them, and when it was time to get another one, returned. He has a good selection of previously owned reconditioned carts. Purchased EZGO RVX, and he gave me a fair trade in on my previous cart, and through is a lot of extras. There were a few issues, but he and staff took care of all of them in timely fashion. When you say you are going to be open, THEN BE OPEN!! I was told on Friday that the store would be open on Saturday from 9am to 1pm. It wasn't! I showed up at 9:45 am and again at 11:00, gates were closed and no one answered the phones. I drove over an hour to get to Escondido Golf Center but I will never be back again! Google says you're open, your website says you're open and your employee's says your open but you're NOT!!! Not the way to run a business that you hope to be successful. read more
