One even said they had an opening in November. When I contacted Ramirez, he said he could be there by noon. He was actually there much earlier. He stood outside in the rain for the several hours it took to complete the job, including restoring the power. He will definitely be the person I will contact for electrical problems in the future and the one I will recommend to others.

I had a maintenance appointment scheduled months ago for today between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. No one called or texted to let me know the technician was running late. After repeatedly asking to speak with a real person, I finally reached someone, but she couldn't provide any information because dispatch wasn't responding to her either. As I write this, I'm still waiting for my technician to arrive. The excellent customer service was the main reason I chose this company and purchased a service contract. This experience has been extremely disappointing. At a minimum, current contract customers should have been notified that the company had been sold and reassured that service would continue without disruption. Based on this experience, I can no longer recommend this company.

However, scheduling seemed to be fair easier with them than any other, and Shawn (the electrician that was dispatched) was a pleasure to work with, even trying to help troubleshoot a related situation (not specific to his work). Where can they improve? That's easy... 1. Clearly, you price based on the service as you should. Some tasks though should not warrant such a premium. Consider coming down about 20%. 2. The sales process - basically everything before getting an expert out - is not optimal if you're someone who knows what needs to get done and just needs "the smart one" to show up and do an assessment. There wasn't pressure; just needless extra steps. 3. I will have to make some adjustments due to observations after Shawn left; it's not his fault specifically, the home had some wonky wiring and the install had some very picky requirements where the use case is going to warrant some changes. Due to the high premium, I can't justify having him back out like I normally would. Ultimately, for electrical, do I recommend? Yes. I just think they have opportunities to improve.
