I reached out to numerous plumbers and companies, but Jay's response stood out right away. While most people were happy to give me a (fairly high) ballpark quote which left me wondering if I would be taken advantage of for my lack of plumbing knowledge, Jay was happy to discuss the possibilities of why our kitchen sink had stopped working for no apparent reason ahead of time, before even booking an appointment. He was able to come take a look at our sink just a couple of days later, on a Friday evening. He spent some time discussing the plumbing of our house with us in general, which was extremely helpful as we only moved a few weeks ago. He was happy to answer questions and make sure we understood things, which we really appreciated. He was professional and explained the cost ahead of time after diagnosing the issue and prior to completing additional work beyond the base service fee for the visit. The remaining three projects were not completed.  Two projects were declined on-site due to "code issues", which should have been identified and communicated during the estimating process and not included in the original quote.  The fifth project was dismissed with the explanation that nothing could be done. Despite no work being performed on three of the five projects, I was charged with the full estimate of $940 for just 4 hours of labor.  Charging for work that wasn't performed is unacceptable.   In addition, the technician arrived 75 late and his demeanor throughout the visit was rude and unprofessional.  He did not demonstrate the level of skill or professionalism I expect from a trained technician. Based on the incomplete work, the unexpected charges, and the unprofessional conduct, I cannot recommend this company.

They subcontracted out the job to finish the construction of the back porch and it was built by someone who's only good attribute was he showed up three days in a row, of course he showed at 11am and wanted to work till 8pm. Which makes it really hard to use my porch space to have dinner and grill outside with company over. These people are hands down the worst absolute worst so called contractors I've ever encountered, I asked the so called Forman some questions about his employees craftsmanship and his response was "well you're just gonna have to let us get away with that on this one because it doesn't look too bad" If I owned the property I'd already be in court but I'm just a tenant who rents and it's not up to me. I just had to repost to let good people know that Complete Painting and Carpentry is anything but complete. I think they should change their name to Incomplete everything!!!!! I sent them 7 pictures and they came back with a quote of $1200 dollars. I accepted their bid and set up an appointment for them to come do the work. When they showed up, they said their estimate was too low and needed to be "adjusted". They then told me the new "adjusted estimate" to do the work would be $3900. I would NEVER do business with these guys again!
