Craig was extremely helpful and I was able to order the liquor I wanted when he didn't have it. Great local place with nice people.

Unfortunately, somewhere along the line the appetizer never got put in, so we didn't receive the boudin egg rolls at all. That was a miss, especially since that's something we were looking forward to trying. That said, the burgers absolutely made up for it. Both were cooked right and had great flavor. Solid, well-done burgers that hit the mark. No complaints there. We also grabbed a blueberry cheesecake to go, which turned out to be a great call. It was rich, flavorful, and a good way to finish things off. Service hiccup aside, the food quality, at least on the burgers and dessert, was strong. Worth stopping in, just keep an eye on your order.

The overall look and cleanness of the place was great. Just wish that the food and service were better. The blackberry cider was amazing. Update to previous review: came here a second time because it was the only thing open late. Let me tell you the second time impressed me. The service was great today and the food was amazing. We did the build your own burger and it was so good and flavorful!!! Burger came with fries which is a plus. Ranch is still amazing and blackberry cider is just as good as the night before. Tonight we got the Cesar salad and it was also very good. If I could, I would give it a 4.5 stars!!!

We quickly learned that there's no wineries in Broken Bow and all of the local 'wineries' make their wine from concentrate often brought in from California. Which is okay, and the prices reflects the quality, we're just not the biggest fans of the wine. The wine tasting itself was so rushed! There's no stools at the bar and it seemed like a very "out of place" experience. However, it's free and you're able to try a good bit of different wines. Their wine slushes are DELICIOUS! You can add a wine floater and in my first one, I added a floater of a dry white and it was refreshing and exciting. I noticed the frozen slushes in to-go bags by the exit and I think it would be so perfect for a hot summer day or floating the river! We grabbed three to enjoy at home! Overall - if you like sweet/simple wine, this place is probably for you... Go with low expectations if you're a wine snob, but definitely go!

I saw a video on Tik Tok by a well known hair salon owner in Dallas recommending him - LEGIT! Our hand-selected menu: - Prime Grade 16 oz Ribeye - American Wagyu 20 oz - Caesar salad (requested no anchovies but he usually adds them) - Brussels and crispy pork belly - Mushroom risotto - Smoked Gouda Mac and cheese - Herbed fresh green beans - Chocolate whiskey cake He will take custom food orders as well (even fresh seafood!). I cannot explain how EVERY bite of every item had incredible flavor. Delicious is an understatement. Chef Phil cooked, cleaned (counter/stove tops, took out the trash, loaded and started dishwasher), and provided nice to-go containers for leftovers. He did everything within 2 hours of arrival for two of us. The leftovers the next day were just as flavorful as freshly served! Reserve your date WELL in advance as his schedule stays full. Is it affordable? YES! I paid Chef Phil the same amount as going to a 5 star steak restaurant in Tulsa or Dallas and that included his time/travel (he should charge more!). The food was 5 star quality as well; actually, better! Besides being an amazing cook, Chef Phil is a kind, personable guy. It was a pleasure having him in our cabin, and we will use him on all future cabin trips!

While I shopped primarily for beer, they appeared to have some good selections in wines. The beer selection is better than average, with selections from all over the globe. The staff is very helpful, but also willing to let you shop on your own if you don't need any help. I really like their "Pick your own" six pack. For about $12.00 ($10.99 plus tax) I was able to find several great beers to enjoy over the next couple of days.

It's the only place advertising that they know wines and try to stock good ones. So, I suggested we go here. We drove out from downtown Texarkana and at first I wondered if I'd gotten the address wrong. It seemed like we were heading out to the country. But, fear not, we got there and I was a little taken aback by the rustic exterior. We sauntered in and found ourselves in a small-ish place that had the usual hard stuff and large freezer case with beer BUT it also had a rather large selection of wines. We started looking and I realized there was more wine here than I had seen at any other liquor store in the area. They had a diverse selection of reds, whites, rose, and sparkling wines. We got Mom some spumante and some prosecco. I picked up a ROSENBLUM wine from their clearance shelf. Not too sure how good it's going to be but at 4 dollars, heck yeah I bought it. The guy behind the counter was nice and helped Mom make a few more wine selections. She is a novice and needs some guidance but she also wants to try stuff, so she is a good customer, if folks will help her out. Yep, little old 70 year old gals like a tipple too and they have the money to get the good stuff. High points for customer service here. I will recommend this shop to anyone who wants libations and to anyone who wants to find a nice wine. For the area, this is about as good as it gets and that's a good thing.

It was a VERY chilly but sunny day so the mulled wine sounded great to me. I only sampled the blueberry, and this one and decided it was perfect. I'm at home now and kind of regretting not getting a bottle. We ordered our glasses and had a seat in the next room that had all the seating. We were nearly done with our drinks when our food came out, and we nearly ordered more but we were trying to pack as much as we could into a Saturday and a ton of these places close super early so it was time to move along. The charcuterie board had some excellent selections and was more than enough for 4 of us, but I will say maybe preserves or mustard or honey might be nice. Some kinda sauce... The staff was so sweet and hospitable. I've been to Hochatown countless times and hadn't stopped in here before and would be happy to go back.

The atmosphere was strange... when we think winery, we're picturing a valley of grapes or a hillside retreat. However, the deck of this tasting location was in front of the literal highway. Maybe we had unrealistic expectations being out-of-towners, but we were disappointed. The wine is very lacking. We learned from a couple locals after this experience that majority of the local "wineries" use a grape concentrate, likely from California, to create their own wines. I definitely think this shows in quality and overall taste, but the prices are very reasonable. I wouldn't come back, and it wouldn't be on our next "to stop" list, but reading other reviews, it seems like a loved establishment. If you're looking for fresh snacks or light meals, it might be a good place to stop by.
