Their quote was very competitive and we wanted to have them replace our unit based upon the excellent service we had received in the past. Our job took two days to complete and the work crew sent out to our house was excellent. They laid down tarps to protect our floors from any debris (we had all of our duct work replaced). In addition we have a small dog who was very curious about their work and really thought they came to visit with her - they were very nice to her and gave her attention. The crew worked very efficiently and answered any of our questions and review details with us along the way. Our new WIFI thermostat had not come in so they installed a digital thermometer and then came back and replaced it with the WIFI unit as soon as it came in. More time was spent chatting to each other, taking lunch (which was included in their time), and driving back and forth for parts (4 trips in a 3 hour span - I would assume you would need no more than 1 maybe 2 trips back and forth) than what was spent actually fixing the problem (bad wire going to my well pump). Not to mention there is a huge mark up on parts (he quoted my $800 for a well pump that is less than $250 online). They were also not very respectful of my house walking all over with dirty clothes and shoes and being loud enough to wake up my baby multiple times. Dennis came to our home, charged us approximately $175.00 for an estimate. The repair work is quite a bit of work and costly, we are well aware. He reassured me his company could do the repairs and even continue to service our boiler. After receiving the estimate, I called and left Dennis a message on October 23, 2017, to have Broad Brook come do the repair work. As of November 14th, 2017 I have yet to hear from Broad Brook.
