We need screws to assemble a couple of cedar fence panels and he let us know that we'd need stainless steel screws because other metals react with the tannins in cedar and can leave black "drip" marks under the screws over time. Little things like that mean A LOT to me. The store itself is brightly lit, very clean and very well stocked for any project you might be doing. Danny is one of the rare service providers who returns calls promptly, answers texts almost immediately, and complies with agreed upon timelines, at a fair price to boot. He also gave us competent advice about our renovation process (e.g., sequencing of floor installation as compared to other tasks). He is now in the process of refinishing and staining the floors in our new historic home. I'm very pleased with how the project is progressing. Danny has again been communicative, reliable and professional. His job lead Willie has also been fantastic and done an incredible job of reviving the home's original 120 year old floors. I'm not sure where the negative reviews are coming from. I've had nothing but positive experiences with Danny. For the record, this is not a fake review. (I can't remember their names right now, so I'll leave them out for now) The first time I stopped in, I spoke with someone about Fypon molding. He spent a pretty long time with me and gave me a very detailed quote and several weeks later we ordered them. Since two pieces were very long, we had them delivered. Very satisfied. Eventually we ordered many cabinet handles, shutters, house numbers, crown molding , colonial window trim, Sheetrock, plywood and Azek beadboard molding. Much of that was also delivered. Still very satisfied. Here, I feel like if I ask a question, and the guy I'm asking isn't 100% sure, he's not going to BS me, he'll ask someone else. That's great service. Overall, their prices are pretty decent, too. I highly recommend them. And I hope I remember their names so I can go back and edit this.
