How to transmission rebuilt? It was a bench built. They supposedly did all the work brought at home installed it, replacing everything that they wanted me to replace for the warranty. It made it 3 miles. And broke call Tim them. That day brought it to him the next day after 3 months got tired of waiting. They blamed the length of time that I had waited. On the tornado in Roger's, it's amazing that had it a month and a 1/2 before the tornado. Rebuilt the transmission myself finding that, they use the cheapest stuff that they can find left a snappering out. This is the latest update from my previous post: The fracture in the differential can't be fixed, so they said they'd have to replace the transmission. Then they said the warranty covered the part but not the labor to replace it. They wanted to charge $900 more. They already replaced another part and charged us $168 labor. That was not the problem causing the leak. So effectively they replaced a broken transmission with a defective one and it cost us a total of $4568 for a leaky transmission. read more

I took them my truck for a transmission rebuild and was told it would be about a week and a half, a month later they said my truck was ready and before i even got out of springdale my transmission was already at 240 degrees so i took it back and they said it was covered under warrant. 3 weeks later they said my truck was gonna need a radiator and a trans cooler and i had to pay 600 dollars because warranty didn't cover that, they then called me saying my truck was ready again and i went and got it and again by the time i got home the transmission was already overheating so i called them and the mechanic said he only put the trans cooler on because it worked on a truck he had done before and he was "trying to save me money" so i had to take it back up there and i am currently waiting on them to put a radiator in it. i highly doubt my truck will be good by the time i get it back this time. I don't even know where to start. Especially Chris, but Tara also, went as far and beyond as possible to take care of not just my car but of me too, during this ordeal with my Subaru. I can't thank them enough or recommend them enough. They bent over backwards to help me and I'm forever grateful. The best part, they're kind, gracious, patient and helpful. They got me the best deal possible and took care of me until the bitter end. I also got to see them treating every other customer the same way, whether in person or over the phone, as I had been treated. I took my camaro into this scandalous place for a diagnosis on my transmission. To be told 3 days later when i received a call about it being repaired and ready for pickup. I told the lady that I didn't request any repairs on the vehicle. Just a diagnosis. She stuttered and said Im sorry... I went from a $300 diagnosis to an $800 tecumseh rebuild. I was later told that the transmission wouldnt last a year if im lucky. So, here i am questioning the stupidity of someone repairing a transmission with a bandaid without my permission. I had to finance the repairs to have the same problems i took in for, to start back up 3 days down the road. I was refunded $400 for the part but not the labor. I decided to go with a transmission replacement and use the rest of my financing to pay for it. After the repairs were done, I went to pick it up and for some reason my financing wouldnt pay for it. After speaking with the owner, I was told that any money used from the financing must be paid off in order to use the rest of the money. At this point, I was ready to make a move. I had to have my partner finance the repairs in order to get my vehicle off the lot. My suggestion is to stay very very far away from the lucrative business. Picked up car because was told was ready. Drove it to test the work. Went to back up but would not go into reverse. Took it back. Not very happy. not sure if it was the owner, but they yelled at me and told me how stupid I am. That it is an "air pocket". Had to leave the building. The person followed me out yelling at me. If I could give them zero stars I would. At this point I want my money back. They had my truck for almost 2 months last summer and my transmission has never been right. They misdiagnosed the issue which cost me thousands and used fraud and is honesty to get me the in the door. Transmission has never been right since they have originally serviced it, and I have given them the chance to warranty the truck 4 superset times. Avoid at all costs. read more

I wish I had seen Kyle's review before I took my car in for transmission work. They had my car for 4 weeks, which I really didn't mind that it took so long but they told me it would be 7 to 10 working days and they never called or communicated with me otherwise. Fast forward, I went to pick up on a Friday afternoon near closing time and when they drove the car out of the garage I was told to bring it back on Monday because the check engine light was on, Oh and my rearview mirror had been broken off. GRRRRR. I had the car for approximately 4-5 days, 97 miles and I found myself on the side of the highway with transmission fluid everywhere. $300.00 tow bill back to A1, I requested a refund because I decided I was going to take elsewhere. But was told they did not do refunds but that it was under warranty. I asked, "will it take another month?" I was told no, probably 2-3 weeks. SEVEN (7) weeks later I get my car (they admitted they were unable to fix and that they sent it out for repair), which is comforting cause I truly believe they are clueless. When picked up the AC wasn't blowing cold because they had drained the freon and the steering wheel was off. Another $335.00 to repair the AC and get the steering wheel aligned. Not to mention the $2,264.63 I paid A1. This is only the highlights, lots of other things in between. I will say the car is driving okay for now but its only been a few days so who knows.
