Hubby noticed a tire light come on and I was fearing the worst - a new tire/tires, days in the shop, long wait times, blah blah. We were in the Bentonville Arvest, getting some banking stuff done and I asked the management (being new to the area), where we could go to get our tire looked at and fixed, who was trustworthy. Immediately she states, Norm the Tire Man. Norm the Tire Man it was. The shop was close by, we walked in, informed them of the tire light (no appointment required). We sat, waited for 30 minutes and all was done. Confirmed, a screw was in the tire; patched it up, placed air in the other tires, at a cost of $23.00. BOOM! Done. Prompt, polite, efficient and inexpensive, can't beat that. read more

So we're looking for tires for my 2014 Camaro SS I called Norms they gave me a quote and have the tires in stock. Their customer service was amazing. The only drawback is they do not make appointments tire service is first come first serve. My husband and I pretty much exclusively use norms for tires and tire maintenance. Had an excellent experience today with Ben and the rest of the team when I dropped off Gus (my FJ) to have the tires rotated. Timely service, friendly staff and Ben went above and beyond to assist me with a few additional things. I always like to support local businesses when possible though with cars, I'll tend to go with one of the national chains. Because I don't always know where I'm going to be. But for my daughter's car, its not as much of a concern because she's always here in Northwest Arkansas. Replacing the tires isn't something that happens often, so I checked Yelp and decided that Norm would get our business. A good choice for a few reasons. Local business, of course. A better price than even Wal-Mart and Sam's Club offered. And they could do it right away. A comfortable waiting area with TV and free wi-fi, plus free coffee. There isn't much nearby for breakfast, you'll have to walk over to the Wal-Mart for their McDonald's or to the Redbud Cafe (recommend this). Later in the day, there is a Wendy's very close. I like this place. They've worked on several cars for me over the years and are always nice people willing to help me save money. I had a screw in my tire and they helped me out with that. The wait wasn't very long. I was able to walk over to the nearby Walmart and pick up a few things while they worked on my car. They also do other maintenance work like oil changes and such. The only thing I disliked A LOT with this place is that during this Covid-19 pandemic, not one person working the front counter was wearing a mask or gloves. Not even the person who drives your car into the bay. I find that extremely tone def and disrespectful for a company right now. I realize it's their prerogative to do or not do but if you're not willing to protect each other at least try to protect your customer. Luckily I had a bottle of disinfecting wipes in my car. I spent 20 minutes after they were done wiping my car down. Just be aware if you're looking for a place to work on your car. I know I won't go back as long as they aren't wearing gloves and/or masks. read more

Do not use this shop. Whatever the part cost at the part store, they will double the price. They do not allow you to buy the part and bring it in. They are a joke. I spend over 5,000 every two years with them in tires alone. I will never use this shop again. They are a rip-off. The wheel bearing is out in my 2017 Chevy truck. They quoted me $730 to fix it. The labor was $263, and the part quote was $467. The same part at O Reilly's is $209. I will never use this shop again. read more

Everything went smoothly, from the on line quote process, calling to set up an appointment to the dropping off of my car for the rear brakes repair/replacement. The shop even decided that I could leave my car the day before the appointment and they'd see if they could get to it then. I left my car in the morning and by the late afternoon it was ready to picked up. The quote given they day before was the cost I actually paid, which was a pleasant surprise. I was needing a new local auto repair shop for some time, as my previous mechanic closed down his shop in August 2022. I highly recommend Norm the Tire Man. My car wasn't wanting to start today and I took it to an auto parts store to have the battery checked. They told me it was probably the alternator. I then took it to Norm's at 3:30 in the afternoon. They took my car right back and checked it, then told me it was just the battery. They had a battery in stock and had it in my car in no time. I was there for only about an hour. The guy told me how much it would cost before they started and that's exactly how much it cost. They were very nice and honest. As a female, I was very thankful for them. A lot of places seem to take advantage of that and aren't honest. I usually hate doing anything car related (my husband was out of town) but they made it not so painful. I will definitely go back if I ever need car repairs. read more

Came here this past Winter to get my winter tires put on my car. Someone recommended this place, so here I came! CUSTOMER SERVICE/KNOWLEDGE: Customer service was good, very friendly and helpful. Overall, they seemed like they knew what they were doing and are very knowledgeable. Wait time was not too long. Less then 45 minutes. I was a walk in and they are a handful of people in the waiting room. PRICE: I didn't call ahead to check prices, but the reason they are not geting a 5 star from me is because of the price. It cost about $100 to get my tires switched out. This was my first winter here, but the places I have previous gone to (out of state) have been much cheaper - about 30 to 40 dollars cheaper. Since then, I have called around to get other prices for the same service and have found cheaper locations. So, I know other reviewers have said their prices are cheap, but with this particularly service they are not. read more

Norm's continues to be my shop of choice. I lived in Rogers for 11 years and used smaller mechanics known for lesser prices, but often kept my vehicle for too long because they were so busy and did not have a lot of employees. Norms this much larger, and always repares my car and a timely manner. I find them to be very trustworthy,and the customer service is excellent. There are always plenty of employees to help me, and repair my vehicle. They treat me with dignity, respect, and explain what is wrong with my vehicle and language I can understand. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but this was horrible. They didn't listen to what I wanted done. They turned a 5 min reattaching a splash shield into "let's rotate your tire" and "you need shocks and struts" (mine are brand new?!?!). Then they rotated my tires and didn't do anything with the splash shield. Then when I noticed they said it couldn't be reattached. I understand, but come tell me that and ask what I'd like for you to do. I then asked them to remove it. It took them over an hour to get to it. While waiting I heard them make many unnecessary recommendations to customers, based on mileage. It doesn't seem they actually inspect anything, they just make "recommendations" and hope that people will say yes to doing the work. Overall they seemed very disinterested in listening to their customers, and only concerned with spending as little time interacting with customers as possible. read more

I had a pretty crappy day, and to top it off I ended up with a screw in my tire. While waiting, one of the men heard my son say he was thirsty, and in I didn't have anything for him, the next thing you know, he brought a Gatorade and gave to him. Finally! I think I found a place that I feel good about. My RV brokedown on the highway and I limped into this garage. They were able to diagnose an exhaust leak (that another garage failed to fix). This leak was burning the spark plug wires which eventually causes the spark plugs not to fire. Even though Norm's does't do heavy exhaust work on heavy RV's, they were able to install a temporary solution that should get me back on the road until I find a specialist. I really appreciated the honesty and not taking on a job that they didn't feel that they couldn't 100% fix. They charged me a very reasonable rate for the work they did and were very attentive. read more

So I called to get service on a blown out tire and he said sure we could meet up and talk prices. There's one problem, my tire is blown out and I can not drive. He said tough luck and and hung up the phone. At this point I was pissed, and with me being a black man with autism could not turn down this sign of aggression. I called him back and called him out on his rudeness and he responded with and I quote " You can go shove your blown out tire in my blown out wife's ass". But we can to terms after eventually finding out that I am not the black man that has been sleeping with his wife. Great service from here onwards. Solid 8/8. read more

We took the vehicle back twice, it was still not repaired and they refused to fix the issue or refund our money. We have spent a great deal of money there and have recommended it to many others. Brought my car in to have hoses fixed which required an oil change there even though I normally do my own. A few months go by and I'm ready to do my oil change. Lift the hood and realized they tightened the oil filter casing on soo tight that I had a hell of a time getting it off even with a oil wrench. Ok no big deal at least I'm moving on. Get under the car and realize they had lost one of my screws, replaced a screw with a foreign screw and had only one original screw on there. I know this sounds petty but when I have my oil change stuff all in one spot it's just another track down of another tool that I didn't need before. Now I tried and tried to get the oil plug off They had tightened it sooo hard that I cannot get it off and by the time I have up the screw actually had stripped. I can't even do an oil change now because of them. This is mechanic 101 that the screws only need to be a little bit better than hand tightening. I have never had this problem in 25 years of doing my oil change nor has any other place lost my original pieces. They did offer me to take my car in there but I declined. First off my car is up on jacks with tools everywhere now and all set to do an oil change. They should have sent someone to me since this is their eff up. Not mine thereby inconveniencing me more. If I take it somewhere it won't be there. They lost a long time customer since it's very apparent their mechanics can't even get the basics right. read more

My husband and I have used Norm The Tire Man for many years, with several different vehicles. My husband is impressed with their honesty and great work. While these things do impress me, I am also impressed by their clean waiting area. Recently, I was there before they actually opened the shop, sitting in the waiting room, as several different men (servicemen, not custodians) came into the waiting room, emptying the trash, vacuuming, mopping, and even checking the cushions on the couch. They have complimentary Keurig coffee for waiting customers. The men are always very respectful, clean, and courteous. I grew up in a small town, with my family using a similar tire/auto shop, but that was many years ago. I am glad that in this growing area of our state there is such a tire/auto shop, AND they know me by name. read more

I was traveling alone through Arkansas in my small RV. I was worried about alignment because it was driving so rough. I stopped in and the 3 men at the desk could not have been more helpful or kind. Two of them came out with a tire technician. The technician drove my RV around the block to test it and assured me it was OK. Another man got on the ground while the other shook the wheel to test axles. They told me all was fine but I should lower the pressure from 80 to 75 in front and 70 in back. This made a huge difference! I drove the rest of the way to Los Angeles and back to Pittsburgh and the ride and handling were much improved. I wish I could move you to Pennsylvania!!! The service desk guys are fast and friendly they are honest about what you need in your tires. The prices are reasonable and they come with free rotation. So disappointed with the receptionist. Called to ask about the change of tires, mount and balance and was quoted one price on the phone and when I went, they gave me a different quote! What a complete waste of my time making the trip over! Grrr . Anyway, went to Latino tires and got my tires replaced mounted and balance with tpms reset and paid only 12.5 a piece with tax and disposal of tire included, all within 15 minutes. read more

I have been going tto Norn s for years and they have always gone above and beyond. One time, I had a tire blow out while I was driving through Bentonville. One of the employees who recognized me came to my rescue and helped me change the tire. He wouldn t even take a tip for helping me. They also inspected the various used cars my daughter wanted to buy, free of charge, to make sure she got a good one. They have always treated me fairly and gone the extra mile, even telling me when repairs will take a while if I want to arrange a ride to leave.
