The annuals and perennials here are healthy and hardy. They have beautiful hanging baskets, from fuchsias to geraniums, as well as native plants and pest resistant flowers. The drive to this place was so pleasant, it was surrounded by miles and miles of farm land and beautiful homes. It had a very small town vibe to it. I didn't get any data service in this area. They had a nice variety of cone flowers. Prices seem to be decent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They had perennial hibiscuses, very healthy looking hydrangea varieties, lavenders, clematis, elephant ear plants and a good collection of other sun and shady perennials along with annuals. Found the most pretty looking sedum plant, forgot to buy it though. All plants looked healthy. They were selling proven winners brand too.

She helped us buy the perfect hanging baskets, told us the smart way to take care of them, and cheered us on as we left to take them home! Today, we went back for Fall flowers and she did it again. Really, the whole staff is awesome, helpful, and oh-so kind. You cannot go wrong here. And their prices are terrific. I have been going to poor boys for many years, we have purchased almost all of our many trees,…read moreshrubs, perennials, annual vegetable garden and annuals from them because I am a strong supporter of local businesses and was willing to pay the hefty prices they charge as a result. That all changed today. The older woman with short gray hair who wears a visor was so incredibly nasty to my three year old and I that I quite literally left my arm full of flowers and will not ever be returning. I know not everyone is a fan of kids, but rolling your eyes and audibly huffing when I politely asked where I could find the bathroom is not appropriate. Neither is yelling when he was trying to view the koi pond. We will (happily) by making the much longer trek to Valley View Farms for all of our (many) future plant purchases and will no longer be supporting a business who feels comfortable treating people this way. Clearly we are not the only ones that have had a run in with this woman and their ironically Poor customer service. I enjoy my annual plant purchases and I am going to keep it that way by never going here again.
