Same experience as previous post by Lisa L. Horrific experience!! The driver was unhinged, mumbling constantly, racist comments and verbal anger towards all vehicles on the road. Driving erradically. Felt terrified and in danger. The stench in the cab was unbearable. Cigarettes and filth. I actually took a photo of his badge and sent it to my family. Thinking we'd be involved in an accident or some other scary scenario. He was all worked up about how he was going to get paid. We told him we would be paying cash at this point just to calm him down. Was rambling on about agent orange, blacks, and his pet 13' alligator named "Missy". Bonified nut job! His driving skills put us and everyone on the road in danger. He blew through a stop sign, missed taking out a bicylist that was in the bike lane, and several close calls on the way to the airport. Yelling all the while at the others on the road. He said that he's been a driver for 46 years. Really?? We were horrified that the hotel we stayed at gave us this number for taxi service. We called Elite Taxi, who called Adam Cab to cover our ride. What a NIGHTMARE!! Steer clear!! read more

I have also used this Adam Cab as well. I don't know the difference between the one on Drayton vs. Price Street but they are both reliable and fast. I have used Adam Cab on and off for 40 years. I like them even better than Uber or Lyft because they will always come back out. read more

We used Adam's cab, ( the blue ones) for a ride from the Amtrak station to Enterprise car rental in Garden City, a distance of 1.8 miles. We were charged the exorbitant fee of 35.00 for what we consider a short distance. We have taken this same trip several times and have NEVER been charged anywhere near that amount. As a matter of fact, the driver actually called his boss to see what to charge us. We don't know where he got that amount since there was no meter in the cab. We have never seen a cab without a meter. Needless to say, we will NEVER use this cab company again. read more

They picked me up on time, was very courteous, and a safe drive to the airport. I originally scheduled a 9:00 am pickup; however, after getting up early and allowing extra time for morning travel, I rescheduled an hour earlier and they are promptly there at 8:00. I highly recommend Adam's Cab. Note: It is better to.pay with cash for a cab ride. read more

Cheap cab (cheaper than Lyft), got me where I needed to go in a timely manner and the driver was polite.

I just completed my stay at the Hampton Inn, Savannah historic district. I asked the front desk this afternoon, May 1, 2022, to call me a cab. The driver from Adam Cab arrived about 10 minutes later. He asked me if I had cash for the fare. I said I had some cash & asked what the fare would be. He responded by stating it would be $26. After loading my luggage, he said he needed to speak w/ someone at the front desk & left the motor running w/ me in the car, blocking the driveway for other vehicles. This went on for several minutes. I politely gave him the address of my hotel & he dismissively told me he would find it. When we arrived at my destination, I confirmed the $26 fare & he responded by stating it was $36, not $26 and " I must have misunderstood him". I was shocked by his blatant bait& switch. I know exactly what he quoted me & I resent his demeaning attitude towards me. I am an attorney who has traveled on business for years. This was one of my worst cab experiences EVER. this is the worse and i mean the worse cab company ever. your cab driver with the number #392 was extremely disrespectful to everyone including security. why do you have drivers driving without a license knowing they have to pick people up at places where its required. then when someone wants to file a complaint the same cab driver answers, doesnt let them finish, "tell them off" then commits to hang up. i will do everything in my power to ban that specific driver from ever touching a steering wheel again read more

Cab took almost 1 hour to pick me up without any notice that they might be running late. During the ride I quickly noticed there was something broken in the Cabs suspension making the ride even less pleasant. IF I COULD RATE ZERO STARS, I WOULD!! DO NOT use this service under any circumstances! Our hotel called for this cab to the airport on our behalf. (6/8/22, early afternoon.) Steer COMPLETELY CLEAR of CAR 392. Racist, bigoted, foul mouthed operator who did nothing but complain about EVERYTHING the minute we got in his cigarette-stenched cab. Beyond rude, has no use for any doctor -- so he's clearly unvaxxed as well, and wore his mask beneath his chin and yakked the entire way. Said he has cancer but isn't going to let "no quack" look at it. Bitched about how he had to transport, let's just say, "people of other races," and how they don't dare cross him because they know what he would "do to them." Didn't get a quote to the airport in advance, but I know damn well that $38 was above and beyond, since our cab when we arrived was $25, there was a lot of traffic, and we had to wait for a train to pass. The best part was when he told us about a military plane that crashed near our turn to the airport, and how one of the ejected (minority) pilots' body started a fire, but "at least they got a new road out of it." Was angry that the military families got a financial settlement out of it because "that's OUR money, you know!!" Didn't lift a finger to open a door or help with luggage. As I entered Walmart last night, the OWNER OF THE COMPANY was outside, screaming at two people who were using Uber instead of his taxi service. He was saying that they were "ruining his business" and that he hoped that they were robbed. Ouch. Absolutely never riding with them, period. Maybe that's why they were riding with Uber, buddy. WORST CAB RIDE EVER. I felt like i was in a horror movie and wasn't going to make it to my designation. DO NOT TAKE THEM!!! The cab reeked of smoke, the light was broken and there was a "as seen on TV" push light that was broken, the METER was broken and I felt like i was ripped off. There was no Credit card machine in the cab, I had to give it to some person on the phone while in the cab. I have never felt more unsafe in my many travels to savannah. read more

Stay away from this cab company! Thieves from top to bottom! Airport to home, driver turned off meter half a mile before my driveway. Read 30 before he turned off. Said it is a flat fee from airport! NOT TRUE WHEN DELIVERING TO RESIDENCE! Said it was $50.00. I refused so he agreed to $40.00. CALLED MY CARD IN BY PHONE! The guy on the other end ran it for $50.00! I work at a hotel and occassionally some guys from Adam Cab would come in to try to smooze up the front desk for business. During my time, I've seen them called 3 times by my associates. All three times were terrible. The first, the guy was entirely late and unapologetic. Repeated calls to Adam Cab resulted in, "He'll be there soon, 5 more minutes." When he finally did show, I had already called another company and they had already come and gone. The driver decided to get snippy with me for a failure on his part. The second time, the driver didn't even bother to show up. Again, running late and repeated calls to Adam Cab only got a response of "soon." Eventually, they told me the guy had straight up picked up a different fare off the street on his way there. The picture of professionalism right there. The third time, the driver actually showed up on time shockingly. However, I got a call back from the couple who had stayed with us saying that the driver had charged them double what was quoted. They called the cops and filed a chargeback with their credit card company. Needless to say, we've blacklisted them from our hotel. Don't use these clowns. Either use national chain like Checker or Yellow, or ask the front desk for a good local company with a history of reliability. read more

Being from NYC, I have taken many cab rides! My first night in Savannah, I had the most awful cab ride of my entire life. I rode with A1 cab and thought I was going to get killed on my way to dinner! After my evening of festivities, i met a very nice person in a bar who recommended Adam cab. My driver picked me up at my location. He was super comfortable on the whole ride and was super polite. This was my best cab experience and I will definitely use them again. Paul was the best. I am so happy I made it back to my hotel alive and safe! Thanks Adam cab!! read more

Not that I have found a good cab service here, but this isn't it. Reserved a cab one day for an early flight the next morning. No show, called the office, they claimed they were on the way but were short staffed. I asked if on the way meant 'on the way' or if it meant 'I should drive myself', she confirmed the latter. Another time (I know, right?!) the female driver kept referring to her boss with an impolite term for a social group to which I also belong. Approached an Adam's taxi mini van in front of Parker's Market and asked for a ride. He explained that he was there to pick someone else up , but called another taxi for us. I asked him if they accept credit cards and he said yes. Our taxi arrives and takes us to our destination. I try to pay with my card and the driver refuses. He takes us back to our pickup location so that we can get cash, then charged us double at drop off. We should not have been charged double when we were told we could use a credit card. read more

My mom and I just spent 5 days in savannah and had a great experience with this cab company. The driver was extremely friendly and timely. He gave us his card with his personal cell number and we used him most of our trip for our cab needs. Their fare was very reasonable. Not sure why the other negative reviews. read more

I don't know why this place has such a bad wrap. I've had taxi experiences much much worse than this one in Savannah. A AA Adam Cab always arrives right on time, or a couple minutes ahead, and they always help with heavy luggage and are super friendly in a laid back way. read more

Needed a cab to pick us up from the Old Town Trolley tours, they informed us they would be there in 10 minutes, 30 minutes later we called, we were informed that the cab was around the corner, 15 minutes later we were on the phone trying to find another cab, to say the least no answer from other cab companies. Finally after another 10 minutes the cab shows up and we go to lunch and he said to call and he would pick us up, well lunch finished and we called and again another 40 minute wait. We go back to the Inn and call Savannah Pedicab for our Ghost Trolley Tour instead of waiting on a cab to take us. This would be a great opportunity for a dependable cab company to come into Savannah and make a killing as there are not any in the downtown area of Savannah, the cabby told us they make more money with the airport runs and are rarely in town to pick up locally, what a shame. read more

Every time I have called them they are extremely rude, at least the guy that answered for me. I had to get a ride to work because my car is in the shop so I called them at 9:15 to get to work by 10:00, which is basically from 55th St. to Abercorn near the Cathedral, maybe 50 blocks, not far at all, and it took them an hour to get to my house. Which of course made me late for work. The worst part was everytime I tried to call to find out how much longer it would be the guy would say "it will be there in a few minutes" and hang up immediately. On the third call to check he said they were on 55th and Waters, which I can see from my house and they definitely were not on Waters because he came from the opposite direction! And so the driver of course said he had JUST gotten the call about 5 minutes prior to picking me up. Adam cab ruined my morning and I will never deal with them again. read more

I took this cab company from the Savannah airport to my hotel at Hilton Head Island. First, I learned later that the cab driver overcharged me. When the trip was over, he asked for $97, even through the flat fee rate table states only $85 (http://www.savannahairport.com/savannah/taxi_cab_rate_system/). Next, he said that he would not be able to take a credit cad. For a $100 ride, this was shocking. Who assumes that people have $100 in their pocket? Fortunately, I did. Then when I asked for a receipt, he said that he had forgotten his receipts that day. I had him scribble something on the toll ticket instead, as I needed something for expense reporting purposes. Cab was 27 minutes late and caused me to miss my train. Manager refused to apologize or admit that they screwed up! I was staying at a hotel in Savannah and had the front desk person call and reserve a cab for me the night before I needed to leave and get to the train station. She confirmed the pick-up time as 7:40 am. The next morning at 7:50, I had the front desk person (happened to be the same person) call them back. They said they had thought it was 7:55 and they'd be right there. Ok, that's bad news, but it just could've been an honest mistake or miscommunication. But 8:00 rolls around and they're still not there. At that point, I decided to call Yellow Cab. They got there in less than 4 minutes. (I still ended up missing my train though.) When I talked to the manager at Adam Cab to complain about my experience, he said that they had a cab there at 7:53 and that I wasn't there and the front desk staff didn't know where I was. That was far from true. I had been waiting at the front door of the hotel, since 7:30 am, the front desk person knew I was waiting for the cab (she had called them twice herself), and I did not leave with the other cab company until about 8:03. I called the hotel back and I asked if the cab ever showed up - they did at 8:07! Also, the manager from Adam Cab that I talked to on the phone was rude and continually interrupted me rather than listening to the problem. read more

Stay away from this company. I took a cab from the Savannah airport and the driver was really rude. I had always paid about $25 from the airport to home however he aggressively asked for $33 and $5 for tip. It seemed like he was going to be very pissed if I didn't pay tip. My bag was really big so I put it in the trunk, and after arriving, when I asked him if I could get some help picking it up, he yelled at me that he just got back from the hospital. Horrendous experiences. Frequently late, when you call to ask for a cab at a certain time, they say yes, no problem, even if there's no way they can make it. I've missed flights and busses due to this company. DO NOT SUPPORT THEM. They couldn't care less about you or where you need to go as long as they get their 8 bucks out of you. Once I called 45 minutes before I needed to picked up, gave him the time I needed to be picked, my destination and the bus I had to catch. Never showed, and when I tried to call, the dispatched hung up, and then I called back trying to get at the least an apology, he just went "Yeah, OK, buddy" then hung up again. What a jackass. Fools. I usually don't write reviews, but here it goes. I called these people to pick me up so that I could get my car from the shop. I told the dispatcher I was using my debit card before the cab was on the may. When the driver dropped me off, he called in the charge. I told him I wanted to give a tip, $2.00 in this case - more than 20%. The driver gave me a card with the fare amount written down When the charge came through my bank, the tip turned out to be $5.00, about 60% of the original fare. Now I'm not about to lose my temper over an additional $3.00, but I called the cab company. Reasons stated were tax on the sale , credit card fess, etc. None of this seemed to explain the difference. The dispatcher said I could call back Monday and maybe he could make an adjustment. ......Why couldn't he do that during the conversation? I told him to forget about it. I'm not going to bother, but somehow I don't think this is the first time this has happened. The feeling I got from this episode is that I should feel lucky that I got a ride from them at all ... .It doesn't seem like they care about their customers.... I am a small business owner. ....If a client of mine has a problem, I am going to fix it, and THEN I am going to thank them for pointing out the problem, and thank them again for their business. read more

I would definitely recommend this cab company! I called them after our reserved Yellow Cab didn't show up. We were very glad that the Adam cab Company driver showed up at our door within five minutes of our call. He was a courteous, friendly, and safe driver and got us to the airport on time. read more

The driver helped us with the bags. No complaint there. However, the meter read 9.50 and he charged us 12.00.

I used this taxi service to get from the airport and back. I paid the fare by credit card, but gave the drivers a cash tip. The charge was standard $28 plus $2 fuel fee. Drivers both said, $30, I paid with the card, even got a receipt back that says $30. My bill had one charge for $37 and one for $36? I called them and have been getting the run-around. Not a big deal, $12 but the principal of it is what matters. read more
