She's had the same nurse for over four years now and we absolutely adore her. Recently my 90 year old grandmother took a tumble and was rushed to the ER. The doctor there needed to get a hold of her primary physician but his office was closed on Sundays. I ended up calling Wellcare and within 10 minutes the nurse had called me back and gave the ER doctor all the information they needed. The nurse and the physical therapists were at my grandmother's the very next morning. Exceptional service all around.

Almost all those who cared for her when I was present did so in a very professional manner upon my observation. Overall I feel it is an excellent facility though I do have a few questions. I noticed that there are not any cameras there. One morning when I arrived earlier than usual and there was a situation I found alarming in my mother's room so I approached the only staff I saw present at the time to alert her. The staff member did not seem happy that I pointed what I saw out and was belligerent. I wanted to report this yet when I tried I was told that the staff member said I invaded her personal space which I didn't and that there were witnesses. Actually though I never invaded her space and since her and I were the only ones in the room I don't see how there could have been witnesses. Saying this though highlights the fact that if there were cameras it would allow those in charge to see what really happened. Safety inside and outside of facilities like this is important for many reasons.

After many therapy sessions with several of the therapists my best results came in following their instructions and having Dr. E try a few different procedures to finally gain some relief. The road to recovery is a long one when dealing with therapy for any injury. You must have patients and follow instructions. After going through 4 different doctors and many test procedures at other facilities I gained the best results at PRI.

The doctor took that feedback personally, and was standoff-ish with me during my next appointment where they asked me to come back. Shannon and the staff there are nice but they don't listen to you and certainly don't care about helping you. Avoid this place at all costs. They call themselves an "institute" but there's no thinking outside of the box. There's no learning here or an openness to do so. Nor is there any adaptation to patients' needs. In particular, younger patients. They mostly seem to "treat" elderly people. They're therapy is mostly the therapists watching you do exercises you could probably do at home. The small bit of hands-on stuff they did wasn't helpful. They will rope you in with false promises then suggest expensive out of pocket treatments like PRPs. They also like to call you incessantly if you don't answer right away instead of just leaving a brief message. If I didn't answer the first 3 times why keep calling and not simply leave a message?! In the end, I wasted a lot of time and money bothering with this place and suggest you not do the same. If you have rare or persistent chronic pain issues you're better off avoiding this place. I'd write more but Yelp doesn't allow you to type that much for reviews.

I only started this review as I saw this Yelp site, but really the review is more about the Advocate Medical Group housed here (and they have their own Yelp review site). There's not much more to say about the facility itself except it's convenient with good hours, and has a big convenient parking lot that is often filled! Our PCP, Dr. Ellen Aleksandrovich, is the best and she is very competent, caring, communicative, proactive, and empathetic to the patient's needs. Their systems also work great and responsively without long waits - systems meaning phone calls or messages, their PA staff, their website which is used for both medical info storage as well as messaging, their billing and payments system, their appointment scheduling, their lab appointments system and staff, etc. They also have several specialists based here that we see, and they have the same support system. We routinely get bloodwork and sometimes imaging done here. They are part of the Advocate Medical Group and in turn associated directly with the excellent Advocate Lutheran General Hospital nearby. In our experience, it's a big thumbs up for Nesset Pavillion and the Advocate Medical Group staff here.

I would just as soon take none of these drugs (I mean I'm not even getting high from them ) As it turns out its been over 1 year since my last physical so I figured I might as well have the tests done. I guess the fact that I have insurance they figured out they might as well order everything deluxe and do Lab Tests, EKG, Ultrasound (Am I pregnant ?). Anyway 2 hrs seems a bit excessive. The attending resident doctor did a very good job and was very through, but the front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired. When I arrived the girl asked me if I could hold on for a minute. I waited for about 5 minutes and finally realized there were a couple of other people that could have checked me in. When I left there were only 2 people. As I walked out the first person just walked away and didn't say anything so I checked out with the other person.

Dirty walls and dirty floors! Call light will stay on nearly three hours before anyone would respond! The next day after being in this dump. I started having chest pains so I informed my nurse. She took my vitals and said my vitals was good. I requested for her or the CNA to call 911 to take me to the hospital and they both refused! I had to use my cell phone to call 911 the paramedics arrived and took me to the hospital. Once i arrived at the hospital.hospital staff ran several tests and results showed i just had a heart attack! But i had to call for paramedics myself! Since staff at Deerfield crossing refused to. And three weeks later I'm still in the hospital. I called the administrator at Deerfield crossing to let him know his staff the nurse nor the CNA wouldn't call the paramedics for me. He had such a nasty uncaring attitude about the situation. Only thing he said to me ok thanks for letting him know. Never once asked for more details nor apologized! This place like most nursing homes are being bought out by these foreigners. And they're only after one thing is money! They could care less about the residents! So please DO NOT GO TO THIS NASTY UNCARING DUMP OR SEND YOUR LOVE ONES THERE!!!

The place I chose near home did not have a bed available but said she could stay at another one of their facilities, Deerfield Crossing Northbrook, until a bed was available. I didn't have a choice and took their recommendation. We arrived after dark and found the place to be slightly in need of some TLC but it was clean. The next day the staff introduced themselves and all of them, including the housekeepers, were very friendly, kind and knowledgeable. I couldn't ask for better care. Two weeks later a bed was available at my first choice, which was much closer to home. I felt bad that we had to leave.
