My siblings and I hired Pearl Rose Academy to evaluate my 91yo mother's driving. We had our concerns. Brandon understood and took mom on as a client. They spent 5 hours together and we ended up being reassured that all is safe for our mom, for now. Brandon called me after each lesson and gave me details about mom's skill set. Mom agreed for us to do this and she ended up loving Brandon. We will call Pearl Rose in a year or two or if we see a decline in mom's ability to be safe for herself and others on the road.As you can predict, taking away a parent's right to drive is a hard responsibility. We want mom to have the objective, professional input from Brandon so she can make her own decision when the time comes. As a former student of this driving school I can say that this place is highly unorganized and I…read morewould not recommend that parents send their children to this school. The teacher failed me as a student by just giving us packets to read instead of actually teaching us, he also doesn't spend enough time on each student behind the wheel when it comes to driving. For example, students are required to have 7 hours of driving with an instructor and 7 hours of observation, this did not occur. Instead two other students and I had to split the time meaning we all drove about 15-20 minutes each session, which is not enough time for new drivers to get an understanding of how to operate a vehicle. I did not leave this class a confident driver to say the least. It took many more hours of practice with my parents to get me where I needed to be. As of now I'm prepared to take the DPS test however, the instructor failed to give me the documentation needed. I've tried countless times to contact him, but I'm stuck, there's nothing more I can do. Please save yourself the money, hassle, and stress it's not worth it. I recommend sending your child to pioneer driving school. I had one conversation with Mr. Lott and he taught me much more than I learned my entire experience with superior driving school.
