When the drill slipped it cut the underneath of my tongue! I went home & the pain was excruciating pain all night. Called them to ask for pain killer they said can't & we can a root canal on Monday, this was Thursday? Went to another dentist. Gave me a shot, 1 root canal, out of pain & ok. Use Brick Dental at your risk. i'm 74 yrs. old & have never given a bad review of a dr. or dentist. Lew, Brick, N.J. Dr. Checkett is extremely competent and honest. He will not recommend a procedure unless it is necessary. Example: I had a tooth that was practically all fillings, but was not bothering me and the x-rays did not indicate a problem. Dr. Checkett watched this tooth for 4 years until it finally cracked and had to be replaced with a crown. A root canal was not necessary. I have highly recommend him to our friends and neighbors.
