I've been using Dave's services off and on for 20 years. Every.single.time, he's friendly and has the answer. Today, in the middle of this COVID-19 mess, I could not get into my digital safe. Had I forgotten the code? Could I not spell? Checked the safe's website for help and there was none. ACK! Called Dave. He said, '...before I come out there and charge you, change the battery.' What? It has a battery? He walked me thru the steps, told me which brand and size of battery and, luckily, I had just restocked with fresh batteries for the smoke alarms. Waited 15 minutes. I called Dave after being shined on for a week from another locksmith - the one who's information was on the safe. Our Safe was locked and we could not get it opened. Dave asked me to send photos and he quickly responded. I was able to resolve the problem over the phone without Dave even having to come out to the store. I called Saturday morning inquiring about getting a replacement key made for a 5 drawer lateral filing cabinet my husband got me. David was extremely helpful. I gave him the code indicated on the lock. He researched which key cut would go with my filing cabinet. He politely explained that he was a mobile business and therefore would charge $60 in order to come to my home. He was very honest and recommend I go to a local locksmith store to save $$$ considering it was not an urgent situation that needed to be taken care of immediately and that it was not worth paying $60 for a filing cabinet key. He provided me the information he researched regarding my lock. He informed me which key code, blank, and cut I would need to request to be made for me. Although he would not benefit from my business he still took the time to give me the information he researched and recommend 2 local places I could go to in order to get what I needed. David was very honest. Based on the phone conversation I had with David I would highly recommend him.
