After getting the first key made, I asked him to cut a second key. During the process, we ran into some mechanical issues with the vehicle that had absolutely nothing to do with his work. Instead of rushing out the door, Ron spent extra time troubleshooting (3hrs! For reference this was suppose to be a 39-45minutes job) and trying to help solve the problem. What impressed me even more was his professionalism and transparency. He took multiple videos throughout the process so I could see exactly what he was doing and understand the challenges he was running into. Then came the part that completely blew me away. Because of the extra time and inconvenience, Ron insisted on giving me a discount. I told him it wasn't necessary because he had already done great work and fulfilled everything he promised. But he wouldn't take no for an answer. In fact, after I had already paid him, he literally reached into his wallet and handed me every bill he had on him to make sure I received the discount. I've never seen anything like it. His exact mindset was that he cares more about doing the job right and earning his customers' trust than taking money he felt he hadn't earned.
