We arrive a GOOD 45 minutes BEFORE closing, and the PROM QUEEN wants to run us out 5 minutes BEFORE gate close, and says that WE HAVE TO LEAVE before we finish unloading the truck, with ONLY 15 boxes left, BECAUSE " You aren't paying my overtime, so you have to leave"...ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?...with my 12 years in the self storage industry, I was MORTIFIED at the AUDACITY of this clerk, and OBVIOUSLY the business mantra that accompanies with that affiliated policy. The place CLOSES at 4 pm, and I did NOT see ANYONE patrolling grounds, nor ANY visible security cameras. I was INCREDULOUS at the GALL , rushing us out, after we had to do THEIR job, of cleaning a unit THAT STILL HAD DIRT OUTLINES where previous tenants items had been. The distance that only takes about three hours to travel without traffic somehow distorted my belongs. In that short distance they broke my tv, a solid wood shoveling unit and damaged various item from my house hold goods. I submitted a claim to them on time with photographs documenting the exact damages. I assumed that this was a reputable company because they are moving the men and women who have volunteered to protect the country. I was sadly mistaken and unfortunately I have to eat the cost of damaged belongings on top of my wife having to quit her job to move with me. The company makes plenty of money from the government contract they have to move service members and their family. My claim was for less then $2,000and they offered me $140. This company has put me in a financial burden and will likely do the same to you. Don't use them to move your family. There are better companies out there!!!
