After lots of searching and finding the best quotes in town I came across a American self storage as my good friend used them recently while he was in transition of finding a new place. JC, David and Roman you guys are the best! and we're extremely helpful understanding and just get it overall as to the pain and stress and frustration of finding a living situation and their flexibility and kindness went a long way to ease the pain of moving and all that comes with it. Besides the great customer service they even we're best as far as cost goes with the 50% off for 2 months special which is extremely ideal if you're looking at short-term storing of your valuables and other crap that you accumulate over the years. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in need of a quick and easy process as far as far as no paperwork etc. They even offer a free truck to use and we even have somebody come out to your location with the truck for you to move with you and whoever else is helping you at no cost which nobody else does in town. Just make sure to call ahead of time and reserve the truck for the day you need it and it will be available or at your house conveniently. Thank you so much for the help and he's on the pockets as you know Santa Barbara is not the most friendly when it comes to budget. My daughter and her roommates found this storage facility when looking to store their furnishings for 1 month between moving out of one apartment in IV and into another one at the end of the school year. They had never done this before and were nervous about how to get everything to the storage unit. David Ortiz was great! He was helpful in pro-rating the cost of the unit to fit their exact needs and sent a free truck to pick everything up and take it to the unit. Amid the craziness of the COVID-19 crisis, when UCSB cancelled class and finals, and urged students to go home, I was able to rent a storage unit, arrange a pick up and extract my son from Santa Barbara all in less than 24 hours--and from out of state. They have a variety of locker sizes for reasonable prices and bunch of great deals waiting to get taken advantage of like 50% first 2 months when I signed for my locker. Great location! Roman helped me find the perfect unit for me! Moved here from Seattle and my apartment is a touch small, so I needed to store some extra stuff. A-American is in a secure building, climate controlled, and they offer all kinds of options! I was looking at 5x5 but it looked a little bigger than I needed, so I went for a 4x5. It's a little odd that it's in a space ABOVE another unit, but it saved me some money! Definitely recommend!! read more

Super nice team here that is Veteran friendly. These guys went out of their way to help lock in a great rate with veteran discount. They also made room for me to leave a pod near my unit so I could easily transload it. Was expecting this to be a nightmare project but it turned out to be really pleasant.
